YOU NEED ANOTHER PIGGIE! 💕💕💕
I know :)
Little Adventures You ought to adopt another baby pig! They’re just too cute as babies. Hopefully another Abyssinian too!
Zoran Allen I know! She should get an Abyssinian or Peruvian! ❤️
@@LittleAdventures definitely Peruvian, I have one and she is the cutest and friendliest thing ever. She looks like a bread 😂😂😂💖💖💖
KatnissRenn 😂 I don’t think she’s had a Peruvian before it would be so adorable but if she doesn’t wanna groom it and stuff she can get an Abyssinian because she only has 1 Abyssinian Sylvester!
I just got two guinea pigs yesterday thanks to your videos I learned a lot and got them!!! Their names are Oreo and Mocha 💕❤️✌🏻👍🏻😂😂😊
Hailey Shuman mine are Candy and Cloud , got mine yesterday too 😍
i’m getting mine tomorrow their names are ginny and luna from harry potter i’m so excited!! any tips?
My Nana's Guinness pigs are latte and mocha
My guinea pigs names are Oreo and Midnight!
Ha! My guineas names are Mocha and Winnie
Thank you so much! One of my Guineapigs always mounts my other, I was worried but now I’m so relieved.
Thank you for sharing your “herd” with us! My children love watching videos of your happy piggies and getting tips for caring for our own guinea pigs:)
Thank you for these, Julia!!! They help me so much. My piggy died ages ago, but whenever I am stressed or can’t sleep, I watch these. It’s therapeutic!
I just got 4 bonded guinea pigs and after watching 5 of your videos I feel a lot better about the sounds they make, thank you! I got so worried when they were chasing and rumble-strutting, I’m glad it’s normal!
Love your channel and your piggies!
Thank you so much! I got a New Guinea pig yesterday and I saw them doing this and was so worried! They are getting along better now
With 4 males (including one new baby!), this was super-helpful. Thanks!
I remember when I first started watching you, I had two guniea pigs... now I have 11😂
My friend gave me her guinea pig today. I felt bad for taking her but I knew I was doing the right thing. She is only a couple months old and she is so little compared to my other two.
Give her the best home you can
How's your piggy doing today? Are all 3 getting along? 🐹
I came back here because one of my guinea pigs is really shy and pokes his cage out a few times (they’re new and still adjusting!) and the other one who’s more outgoing rumble strutts to show dominance and I was so scared they were gonna fight but I’m relieved to know it’s to calm the other one down (or dominance) and that it’s normal so I’m more at ease thank you soso much omg
I'm getting my guinea pigs soon ur videos are helping me so much thanks for helping me learn what they can eat and what they cant!
This has helped me millions as I adopted another guinea pig from a rescue after my first guinea pig Crunchy passed away and his cage mate, Munchie, was lonely. The new guinea pig, Milo (who is also the dominant one) has displayed all of these behaviors and I was beginning to worry that they wasn't getting on even though they spent a week together bonding at the rescue before they got sent home with me. I never had these behaviors with Munchie & Crunchy (or at least not all the complaining from Munchie) so it puts my mind at ease knowing now that it's nothing to worry about 😊
You're videos really do help so much. I just want to thank you. I have three Male Guinea pigs, their names are Pepper, Patches, and Pumpkin. They can be a handful at times but their my babies and I love them. So thank you so much for your videos they really do relive a lot of the worry the piggies can give us owners. 🤗
THANK YOU. I just got some and they apparently enjoy chasing each other occasionally throughout the day and it was starting to worry me that they were fighting.
Can I just say your piggies are adorable and your video was super helpful. I guess I was taking to long to give my piggies their hay so Hugo started chattering his teeth and then Loof started to do it. Now I know that they were just being kinda impatient 💜
Cuteness overloaded visuals.
You help me sooo much , I have had my guinea pigs for about 2 months now and I couldn’t have done it with out you!😝🐹
I’ve been watching you videos for a while, but I just got 2 piggies! Love your videos
One of my guinea pigs kept mounting and chasing the less dominant Guinea pig all day and I was worried they were fighting but I am very glad it isnt anything to worry about :)
Love your videos, the advice is so helpful for my guinea pigs I've only had for a month! Love your piggies too Sylvester is amazing!
Incredible video! It helped me sooooo much :D Keep up the amazing work!
I love your channel and ur cute Guinea pigs. They r so adorable ❤️
I kinda wish you added the audio in the background so I could know that my piggies are doing it and not something else other than that Great video
Your videos have helped me a lot with my guinea pigs! Thank you
When your to early and can’t scroll through the comments 😂.
Edit thx for the ❤️ you help me a lot with my pigs
Dana Vasquez you’re
I love your guinea pigs!!!
Sorry it's been awhile since I last watched ur channel. Been so busy with exams. #LoveU❤❤❤❤
Nice tunnel clip (opening scene)!
Ty soooooo much for this!
I had to search and thank God chasing isn't dangerous as I feared it could be rn. They are all happily eating their big dinner of fresh veggies that I bought them.
our virgil is so sweet and when he kisses he nibbles too and sometimes he'll nibble a bit hard and we will stop petting for a bit but we know he means no harm because usually he'll wheek or try to play and not have you leave lol but he has bitten a few times when he was a baby but we think it was him not knowing his strength .. i wanna get a baby guinea pig and slowly introduce them but idk
I’ve learned so much from watching all you’re videos
They are so good!
Hi little adventures I still love your little CUTIES
Little adventures I love your channel and thank you much for telling this because my piggies do these things and I get worried
thank you! got two boys, Declan and Scout🦋
Thanks for sharing this video. When I was younger and had my own piggies they used to do these kinds of things as well and everyone was telling me to separate them. But I refused because I believed it normal. ( I had done some reading on my own). Animals communicate with behaviour where we comunicatie with words. It sometimes doesn't look or sound pretty. But that doesn't mean it's bad. :)
I have 2 males and i was very scared they were fighting while i wasn’t in the room and this definitely helped 😊
This channel lets me know so many facts because I am going to get two Guinea pigs
Thank you for this!! I just adopted 2 ladies that weren't taken care of very well, and I was a little worried cause I've seen a lot of rumble strutting and chasing. They've been together for 2 years though so I'm super hesitant to separate them
I'm definitely showing this to my art teacher! She had to seperate her piggies temporarily since one had to be isolated for health reasons. Now she's scared to put them back together because when she tried to they were mounting and chasing each other. I tried to explain that was normal, but maybe if I show her this video it'll help her figure it out. I just hope she doesn't keep them seperate forever, since I know from experience with my own solo piggy, guinea pigs are much happier with a friend!
Thanks for helping me!Luv your videos! 1st❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank god!
Both of my piggies do these things ALOT (Mainly Caramel) and I was worried they were fighting!
Thank you so much for this video!
I love you and your piggies and I can’t wait until I save up enough money for my own guinea pig!!!
MINNIE looks especially cute today
You are so helpful!!
Whining = "Mooom! She's touching me!! MOOOOM!!"
ok um so if my guinea pigs are trying to get on top pf eachother its mounting. It just feels like they are getting hurt because of the way they are squeaking and how they do it
Little one is so cute
Sooooo help full thank youu!
Aww 💝
They are all so cute 💝
Awesome keep up the good work
Thank you so much for this video!!! I needed this💖
Yesterday I adopted my foster pig, Lexi, since I fell in love with her. I was holding her at the shelter in a little hand-made cozy so she would feel safe, but she was sticking her head out a bit. I met someone who was getting two guinea pigs for his daughter. He asked a few questions which I answered, and he asked what they eat. I explained that hay makes up about 75-80 percent of their diet, veggies make up about 15-20 percent of their diet, and pellets are optional but if you feed pellets to be careful not to overfeed the piggies, and how pellets make up about 5 percent of their diet. He looked really shocked and I asked if something was wrong. He said "I thought they only ate pellets, I had no idea they had hay or anything. I had a guinea pig as a kid who only ate pellets." I asked him what cage he was planning to use for the pigs and he said a 20 gallon tank. I told him that two guinea pigs need somewhere between 7.5-10.5 square feet of room, but it was more towards the 10.5 level. I got home and looked up the dimensions of a 20 gallon tank and then converted that into square inches then square feet. A 20 gallon tank is 2.5 square feet. I wish I would have recommended him to watch your channel. Womp womp
Love Your Videos ✨❤️
Lol my guinea pigs teeth chatter all the time when they sence plastic or smell or sense food!♡♡♡ they love food
There are actually two different types of teeth chattering. Open mouth teeth chattering is the normal "hey I'm angry" teeth chattering and then there is closed mouth teeth chattering. Closed teeth chattering is an advanced way of communicating to humans that they are hungry. They wheek when thier hungry at a distance but when they are close up, like if your holding them and they are hungry or suddenly smell something tasty they may turn towards you and close mouth teeth chatter. Also closed mouth teeth chatter is slower almost mimicking chewing. I've had dozens of piggies over the years and non of them did this until recently. One of the piggies I hold the most started doing this, she and I are very close. Then later another piggies started doing this same thing when they are hungry but to close to wheek.
Thank you for this video! My 3 females have been living together peacefully now for 2 months but just noticed the second oldest one (not the boss lady) chasing the baby (4 months old) around a lot today and got very worried. No signs of fighting and hardly any nipping, just chasing. Still hurts my fur baby heart 💔
This is great for me
Helpfulness
this will be helpful! i am getting a guinea pig soon and naming her lilly ^^
BlueWolfSFM I hope you know someone near you who also has a female to have play dates, or are getting two
what?
oh, i cant get 2 because my mom does not want 2, i am only getting one because my mom does not care about her having another guinea pig to bond with
@@NeomiFloof I know this may seem offensive but it's probably best not to have a Guinea Pig if you can only have one...Guinea Pigs can become lonely and depressed when they are on their own
candy11401 ik I’m still trying to get my mom to say yes to two
For about 2 whole days now my 2 month old, Kiwi, has been rumble strutting and chasing my other 3 year old, Peach. It was sort of making me scared just because it was non stop, but I guess it’s normal? 😂
WHY IS THIS SO HELPFUL 😍😂
super cute piggy videos❤❤❤👄
I adopted a guinea pig off of Craigslist and she told me that the piggy is a girl.. “she” is actually a he.. 😂 Luckily he hasn’t been living with my female 😂
Lps turtle spy T.V. Me too! I put them together outside of the cage and thought it was dominance. So luckily I had kept them apart because I thought they didn’t get along. Turns out it was because he really loved my female 😬 So because they never lived together I doubt there’s a chance my female is/ will get pregnant. Now I just have to wait a few months to get him neutered 😶
That could have gone wrong lucky for me though my local pet store buys from local breeders and they said if they ever mixed us up with a Male with our girl they would gladly take the babies off our hands they really are a great pet store well behaved parrots and Cockatoos they have there they let the birds roam free they stay in one spot
I have 2 guinea pig and they are so cute
My Guinea pigs keep chocking on carrots and capsicum. What do I do?
Thank you so much!!! This was so helpful! ❤
Hello I have a problem with my piggy. May you Please help? Why does my guinea bite the cage sooo much and 😫 he eats the paint
I have two male guinea pigs, around 3 months old, but the dominant one is a bit bigger and I think maybe a couple months older I don't know I got them from a pet store, the small one is really nice and has taken to is really well however, the dominant bigger one is more shy of us, but I still got a purr out of him and have started to bond with him... BUT!
the dominant guinea pig I think keeps bullying the little guinea pig, I recently changed their cage to a much larger cage and instead of them sharing one Hide away they now have 1 each, and also room for separate piles of food and seperate water. I saw the dominant guinea pig doing laps and nipping at the smaller guinea pig, the small guinea pig looked really scared. I have also seen the larger guinea pig kick the smaller guinea pig out of his hide away and now they are making a lot of noise, and the squeaks from the smaller guinea pigs are normal but have that high-pitched note towards the end, the same as when he's really hungry and can hear me opening the spinach packet. I don't know if this is normal and I really don't want to have to get rid of either pig, and I don't want to wait until he bites the smaller pig really badly. ID rather swap him out before that happens. Should I buy another guinea pig? they are still really young so I think getting another baby just yet is not a good idea, I don't want him fighting with another pig and dealing with the dominant bully. What should I do? Is there something I can do when I see him bullying the smaller pig? Everything I think of seems like it would just scare both of them and not help. I'm so worried! Should I separate them now or wait until they have a proper fight and bite each other? I don't know what to do. But from what I've heard buying a another baby guinea pig right now while they are still small is not a good idea and I should wait till they are both grown up so that the baby guinea pig will know it's place and not fight. But I don't know for sure if that's true? It makes sense though. If I have to seperate them should is that going to make them lonely and depressed? Do I have to buy another two guinea pigs if I separate them? That's too much and I can't do that, please help!
I just got two today and they chase each other even though they lived together so I got worried hahaha
thank you. you help me alot i thought my guinea pigs were fighting. lol
Ohhhh my minnie got so big!
My male guinea pigs keep trying to mate 😂 I can tell it’s mating and not fighting it I think it’s so cute they want to mate!
I heard that when you have multiple bottles of water, multiple feeding stations, and also have hidies, cuddle cups, and tunnels with more than one entrance, these things really cut down on conflicts. If I dominant pig wants to push a pig out of an enclosed structure, there can be trouble when there is only one entrance, so two entrances per structure cut down bad situations. Source: Skinnypigs1
These tips cut down on conflict, but the behaviors mentioned aren’t conflict situations, they’re normal guinea pig behavior :)
Ty. I got scared cause a few days ago I got my first guinea pig! But I forgot somehow I needed 2 to be together. So today I went back into the pet store to see if one of the guinea pigs was still there that was there when i went to get coco (the first guinea pig I got) and I seen (honey) the one I got today. I seen her when I went to go get coco and when I first went to get coco I seen coco and honey were cuddled up together, so I decided to get her. I was watching them a little bit and coco was kinda excited to have her friend again and then honey started chasing her around the cage! But now I realized they was just playing, and rn they’re both eating some hay!
Tbh idek why I typed this paragraph when it wasn’t even needed 😭🙄
I have no idea who the dominant guinea pig is, definitely not the baby, but my older ones both act like that
Sylvester is so fluffy I want to cuddle him so bad!
My guineapig is still pretty scared still she’s got better when your guineapigs did the rumble strut my guineapig did
Love you!
Hi I have 1 piggy she has everything an can go where she wants I’m in most of the day is that ok?
andrew beddis It's better to get two, or you can do Guinea pig play dates a lot with Guinea pig(s) of the same gender. For the cage size, it's great, as she/he would have a lot of space to go wherever she/he would want in the house.
I was around my guinea pig most of the day and she still was quite depressed. She also became depressed when she lost her cage partner (he wasn't neutered, she had babies and we had to sell them) even after she became cage mates with her daughter she still was depressed over losing her past cage mate for months and she still ate and drank but didn't act like herself vice versa (I know this because I gave the male to my grandmother.) Cage mates are extremely vital to a guinea pig's overall health. It's basically like if you could only communicate with a guinea pig all day.
I really want to get guinea pigs but I leave for school early and I aslo have a lot of homework so I don't know if I have the space and time for guinea pigs
OMG I really like all the Guinea's
I like your guinea pigs
Would you mind actually showing what that looks like? It would really help out! I am a new guinea pig mom and pretty scared when they start mounting and chasing and purring. Thanks
Please make a video on tips and suggestions on food toys caring cage etc
Informative!
Thank you so much this did help a lot I was worried my two girls weren't getting along one is about 8 and a half months old and the other is anywhare from 6 to 8 weeks old the pet store said I got the older one first and sadly when I got another today I didnt think to see if there was a proper way to introduce them stupid me🤣
my little guinea pig Gizmo mounts Nom Nom and he hates it
My guinea pig walks very slowly and moves his head in a weird way should I be worried
I really hope you get another piggie. My piggie keeps jumping on the other one is that ok
Can anyone please advise - my 2 boys are about 18 months and have always lived together. In the past few days one (Zeb) has been jumping on the other ones (Jed) head and neck. Jed makes a loud squealing/wheeking noise and runs away, Zeb runs after him and does it over again. This has been happening throughout the day, I’ve seen him do it a couple of times before but it stops after once or twice. There is no blood, no chunks of fur, no injuries whatsoever. Are they fighting or playing? They have a big 5x2 C&C cage.
My guinea-pig constantly mount and they are both females. At the shelter they said that the new one we got was sent back twice because the last families didn't want her. Could this be why?
I love Minnie so much! I really do miss Wilma 😭
About two weeks ago I got another guinea pig for my herd, and after making sure my new piggie was healthy I introduced them and everything went amazing. For about a week they were all happily living together, but then my oldest pig had a small bite/scratch mark on his lip area. I’ve had guinea pigs for many years and have never had anything like this happen before. I separated them for one day. Any suggestions? Is this normal? Thanks to anyone who responds! Awesome video too :)
I have two guinea pigs and just got a third one, so yesterday we did the introduction session, and it went fine, however, when we put them back into the cage, my original 2 started to fight (no blood at all), and it's KINDA worked out but not really, i feel like they are bullying the third away, what do i do?
New Guinea pig owner and I have 2 boys but I was anxious that they were fighting but the lady said it was normal for the first few days as long as there’s no blood and such. They don’t really chase each other in my case I have one that has all the energy and will butt sniff or I believe lightly bite the other male and I’m just hoping it isn’t aggressive behavior. Any pointers would be greatly appreciate
Is it ok to introduce a new guinie pig to your current Guinie pig ever if she is 1 year old?
My guinea pig is fast asleep and his eyes are closed and he wont get up or run. Is this normal?
