i think that showing the audience here is a grea deal, cause in this kind of performance,most of the people are not headbangers or rock/metal teen noobs. you can see it in the way they stand quietly and enjoy the sounds, and it adds a lot.

incredible band, insane music experience and pretty much guaranteed to be amongst the best crowd you could ask for because they love the music experience more than pushing and shoving or scream-singing the one hit song they know. saw them at splendour in 2011 while kanye west played another stage - it was the most peaceful period of the 3 days of music - worst of the crowd no where to be seen, while several thousand serious music lovers basked in mogwai.
Just a brilliant piece of work, saw them years ago at a festival and all i remember is this great wall of sound..they are not to be missed if given the chance....!!!!

you're right, the audience shots are sometimes a little annoying. but we have some very good close-ups from the band, so i thought it was worth uploading.;-)

Me however haven't and won't! Going to see them in Oxford in Feb. This will be the 8th or 9th time and they just get better and better!
obviously if you're a mogwai fan, you love intrumental bands like explosions in the sky too. There is a couple of bands from pittsburgh Pa..Zombi and The sea,like lead. No, I don't know any of the members, but not to many people know of them and they're pretty good. There isn't much of them on youtube either. Do check out though

I saw Mogwai in 2004 along with The Rapture and The Cure. They're a great live band.
