No matter how big a hit you think Cybertruck will be, you are underestimating how big a hit Cybertruck will be.
The average person is not spending this much on a vehicle which is why it will never be a hit.
The only people that will buy this are vegans, who shop at whole foods and go to yoga classes with their dogs.
True dat.
How many people are lining up for $80-$120k trucks with 240 miles of range without towing?
@@mattbrew11 Not 240 miles, 300 miles without towing. I own a diesel truck, I almost never go further than 50 miles for anything, and when on the road definitely never even close to 300 miles without stopping either for fuel, or to stretch and take a leak. Quite literally millions, the number of people that already have paid 100 bucks just to be on the list to have the opportunity to order one, they can't make 'em fast enough and it will be that way for years to come just by the current backlog of orders.
A absolute shitload. That's for sure.@@mattbrew11
That blue looks awesome. Love that more and more people are open to change the color of their CT.
I hope you guys show them all! It's also very relaxing seeing you guys put the wrap on, thanks!
No expert, but just logically thinking, the Cybertruck has to be THE easiest thing to wrap! Great options. Digging the matt black. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
If doing correctly it's actually more difficult with the edges from what I'm hearing
@@Orangeman47 My logic is that the large flat surfaces make it easier without mostly the need for heat guns to deal with curves and compound bends found on many cars. The new Supra for example. I can see no way it would be as hard as that with the Cybertruck all flat panels with simple straight bends. Maybe the producer of this Channel will chime in to clarify. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
@@CLCIII yes but the edges are The things people don't consider that actually take the longest time
It doesn’t have the right surface tension when applied… it’s harder rn. They’ll figure it out.
White with gloss black accents would definitely be an eye catching combo
What about DynoPurple? I want to see how that looks on the stainless steel.
Army green gloss would be amazing on the Cybertruck… like the Army green on Toyota’s 2020 TRD Pro line up.
This was a great video. Thank you.
7:20 Honestly I like purple the best.
That blue looks sick!
Decisions decisions , not sure what color is best
Would love to see the Clear Damascus on top of a metallic black.
4:20 thanks for showing the DynoPrism! Really wanted to see what it looks like on S/S! I have it on my Pearl White MX & it's subtle, but looks awesome!
Dynoprism is my absolute favourite i wish i had customers willing to hse it
On the clear/transparent wraps I’d like to see some surface prep before applying the PPF. WHat does buffing to a mirror finish do under a wrap to these colors/clears?
The chrome black looks soo good. I hope they release it to public eventually.
The black matte is available to public. Only the chrome black isn't.
@@ItsBinhRepaired sorry, that's what I meant
@thesadboxman I prefer the matte black. The chrome black makes it too kitchen appliance looking lol
@@ItsBinhRepaired if kitchen appliances looked like that, I'd consider upgrading now 😂
@thesadboxman haha get the dark chrome stainless steel color :)
Show us their Dynoforged carbon; they are dope
Is there a snow white PPF option ?
the big question went unanswered.. how much does it cost for a total wrap for the cybertruck?
Dynochrom black is the way to go. Hopefully it becomes available before i get my cybertruck lol
Ive watched a bunch of wrap jobs on u tube, it looks like a job that takes experience, yes the ct is relatively flat , but it still would be intimidating for the fist time.
I ordered a ct on 12/2000.
I might try it myself, but i also may ask a local shop to do it for the u tube publicity as other ct owner have done.
I like black, matt or gloss 🤔 batmobile looking for sure.
Great work…lots of info presented quickly. I would like the Damascus texture with some color… Is that possible?
There is a transparent Damascus option.
Please give us more info about the stek dark smoke ppf. I can't seem to find anything online.
would love to see a temperature profile of various wraps in the hot sun. I’m a little worried about temperature.
It would be interesting to see the smoke and Damascus on a whole panel in the sun.
Wait dude. You totally glazed over the smoke grey. Where can I find that color?
i'd love to see some holographic or rainbow or however it is called film :)
Fully carbon fiber look would that look good?
Thank you for the video, once a vehicle is wrapped, can you run it through a car wash ?
How much in Milpitas to do the Matte Black
QUESTION: Stainless is often cleaned with WD-40, will using this cause problems when wrapping later?
Dark Smoke FTW
Where is Hi Res render option?
If I ever get one, I’m going with matte black or matte white
Damask Black on my CT please.
I vote for that dark gray one to the left of the green. A carbon fiber one would be wild as well.
Would love a RoboCop-esqe deep Titanium
CyberMondriaan!
someone should polish the cyberpunk stainless steel to a mirror finish. wouldn't take that long with the right gear,, and would look pretty insane. might also work as a more interesting base layer for some wraps. The mirror finish would last well because no amount of scratches would change the overall effect and it might look great a bit bashed up.
fingerprint magnet, no? Also, might not be legal in many states.
@@Jethr001 I find this sensitivity to finger prints quite funny, not sure why anyone cares. but yes I guess it would have finger prints. seems like you can have a clear wrap that doesn't show them so that could go on top of the mirror
You know someone is going to polish one and tow an Airstream trailer.
As soon as we get ours and not a customers gonna polish it to airstream level shiny
You have to LEASE one you cannot purchase one ever. Wait till they charge customers for irreversible modifications, including de-trimming for wraps 😂😂🤡🤡
How do the wraps react to cold environments?
Nice to see a nasa milar gold like on moon lander
Dyno Chrome Black is a a perfect fit for the Cybertruck.
Why the heck does CT need ppf?? Has no paint!!
Yellow cybermarine)
A cherry red Cybertruck would look sick
Do you mean 0.8mm thick? 8mm is about 1/4 inch.
No he means 8mm. Pretty standard for paint protection film.
Vinyl wraps are much thinner but do not do as good of a job at actually protecting the paint.
Or in the CT’s case, the bare metal.
@@dpav02thanks. I realise now I’m thinking in metric (millimetres, mm) whereas he’s talking in “mils” (a thousandth of an inch). 8 mils is 0.2mm in metric. 8mm metric would be the thickness of a coaster.
Bruh, 8mm thick???? That's 5/16s of an inch! You mean 0.08mm?
I want to see red
PPF is not necessary for the CyberTruck.
Don’t k is why your putting PAINT protection film on STAINLESS steel that is bulletproof, but I like the light blue.
Sorry but there is nothing you can do to the cybertruck to make it look less ugly
I think u mean 0.8 mil. They arent that thic
Modifications to LEASED vehicles, wait till Tesla taxes the owners that assume Tesla wants to remove random wraps for random shops 😂😂😂😂
Hate to be that guy but you say it repeatedly - "very unique" is poor English. Something is either unique or it isn't, anything less than unique stops being unique by definition.
Interesting video but no wrap on my CT when it’s delivered. I will wipe mine down with Shiela Shine SS cleaner and polish. It’s a top rated SS cleaner that the pro’s use. Most people have never heard of it. It’s been a secret in the professional cleaning industry for many years. It beats out WD-40 on SS.
