    Can this procedure also apply to mitral valve issues?

    I am 76. Id had been told I had a heart murmur my whole life. Then a few years ago the Dr said no. U don’t have a heart murmur. The drs never did any echos or tests Thru my whole life til a month ago I had a check up and the Dr said she hear a ‘slight’ murmur. She then scheduled an echo they found in and out stenosis and regurgitation. Or something like that in my results. Imhavevtonwaitvtil the middle of Dec to see a heart Dr. What ur saying. The stenosis what partly was said on the test. My dr said we’ll see. What. If anything is to be done.
    I hav3 a friend who had the non surgical valve done but don’t know what fir. She got a blood clot and had pain even at the four month stage. You made that procedure sound like a piece of cake. It isn’t. I NEVER WANT TO BE PUT ON BLOOD THINNERS.

    How long does the new valve last for?

    • @mooncrestt5941
      @mooncrestt5941 3 года назад +1

      It depends do u mean. Tissue valve or mechanical valve
      The one for TAVR won’t last as long as the others

    • @privatesector0422

      Valve last for approximately 8 to 10 years.
      With modern technology the valves are getting better however there is a chance of complications with some of these valves that may only last up to 5 years.
      Make sure you do your research and get the most up-to-date valve with the most trials and the most success rates.

      The claims for mechanical are lifetime. But require taking warfarin/cuomodin for the rest of your life. The bio-prosthetic valves will last normally from 10-15 yr depending on your lifestyle and work. The 3rd option is known as the Ross procedure where the faulty aortic valve is removed and replaced with the pulmonary valve from the persons' own heart and the pulmonary valve is replaced by a donor valve. This 3rd option from what I found from other videos on RUclips may offer the best option over the bio-prosthetics

    I was born with this problem and I'm only 15. My mom told me that when I was about 8 months old I had to do emergency surgery but my condition stabilized and I didn't do it anymore. I still have this problem and I hate it because there are certain sports that I want to do and my mom doesn't let me do it. I don't even know how to swim cuz of my condition

      you shoukd tell ur mum. Unless your condition is very severe and ur doctor specifically told u not to do any sports. That they’re good for you. exercise is always good for the heart. Just don’t do any extreme strenuous activities that could strain your heart even more

    Can aortic stenosis treated with out surgery

    • @davidlo168888
      @davidlo168888 10 месяцев назад

      Definitely.
      If your windshield is dirty, you should replace your windshield or you just
      clean it?
      The culprits of aortic stenosis are:
      1. AGEs (advanced glycation endproducts)
      2. ALEs (advanced lipoxidation endproducts)
      3. Calcification
      4. Oxidative Stress
      Western medication forever can't clear away a.m. from aortic valve, especially
      collagen portion. God's mercy nano-medication can clear away a.m. wast
      products from aortic valve. Hence, aortic valve can restore its normal
      function.
      All glory belongs to God !
