I work in the corrugated board industry. That plain brown box is massively more environmentally friendly than white boxes with lots of printing on it. Bleaching the corrugated board white is a heavy polluting process.
I like how honest you are when it comes to these reviews. I bought this TV recently and I love it. I did come from an old Sony HD 720p TV so this was a massive upgrade for me. I prefer Apple 4K TV so I don't really use GoogleTV. It is still nice to have it as a backup though. I don't have any major complaints. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
X80k now supports 4k 120hz. I don't know if they updated the tv or if it's only on certain sizes, but I just bought the 85" x80k and it says it has 4k 120hz in the manual as well as labeled on hdmi 3 and 4 on the back of the tv. I tested it with a ps5 as well as laptop, and it works.
A week before this you made another video in which you were SO IMPRESSED by the quality of the X80K. Did the specs on paper somehow overshadow your eye test? I stared at an 85 inch X80K next to an X90K at Costco for 10 minutes and I couldn't tell the difference haha! The 85 inch X80K actually has hdmi 2.1 and is a 120hz panel.
Do not get this tv if you use Directv or cable. Returned an 85 inch which is 120hz because the blooming and blur was horrible on directv feeds. Sports were doubly terrible. It's great if you stream 4k or for gaming.

Are you sure this tv have no dse.. Mine have 3 inches vertical lines from top in zebra crossing pattern.. And from bottom like 2 inches tall.. Which is not visible normally but sometimes it does appear

The C1 is definitely better.....I do own a 65" X900H and its a good tv for the price....Sony just recently added VRR and ALLM too...It does have 2.1 hdmi for 120hz gaming....Overall its a good tv and the colors are amazing.....especially the reds.....If you can get the C1 definitely get it...i seen a 65" C1 on sale for 1650 on amazon....

Absolutely no brand has local dimming as a feature across the board… Samsung is still rocking edge lit up to its q70 model, which is very pathetic.

Depending on size some are ips and some are va panels not sure what ones tho.
50 inch is VA, other are IPS
