Hi I have a question what if my DS 2019 does not have the 2 year waiver but my passport has the 2 year waiver what do I do? I got an attorney to do my paper work however she said it would take a while to know what is happening.

Hello! Due to a misunderstanding my lawyer started the change of status from J1 visa without my waiver (I have the NOS from home country). I applied to the waiver but the processing times are ridiculous now and I still didn't have an answer. I am at a loss on how this will impact the already scheduled interview I have for my green card application. Do you have any insights?
