Would you be able to compare the sizing of the Shockwave relative to the Mizuno...or even better, the Arena Carbon Core (my current main suit)?
26 in TYR is like 28 Core FX, M or L Mizuno
Love my mizuno v, but I only wear it for sessions where I have one swim… can’t wear it all day or else my legs cramp when I race (there is a such thing as too much compression)
How does this compare to the TYR venzo camo?
But didn't u rank the shockwave WAY lower than the GX sonic III in the sprint tier list??
For pure sprint it isn’t as good no, still great but not as good, for a 200 it’s way better than 3 ST
How does the sizing compare. I wear a 24 in Speedo and 26 in Arena

Hey Sonny, Great review. I like moderate compression and normally race in the 5 MR. Sometimes the 5mr is to compressive for my legs on the breastroke leg. Would you recommend this suit for the 4Im? if not what suit would you choose?
If you want slightly less compression then V MR this works!
Also check out the TYR Phantom. It's identical to the Venzo, but the compression is just a notch lower.

I'm looking to buy a new tech suit. I've only had 2 venzos so far. How does it compare to the venzo? Would you recommend this for the 200 breast?
How about the sizing, compare to the Avictor ? As a-4-year-Avictor-wearer, i feel the size 20 is still a bit loose for me.
If my hips is 34inches what tyr techsuit size should I go for? 32 or 34? Or even 30?
how much do you think is the useful life of a suit?
because I use core fx and it is already very old I must have used it more than 20 times
Every suit is different: some will ‘last’ for ages but won’t be as fast as a new wear. I think suits have 3 (maybe 5) wears where they are great. Most pros will use brand new suits for every major race.

Is the mizuno gx 3,4 and 5 mr recommendable for all the breastroke events?
3 Mr is broken for breast, SL is next best. 3MR and 4/5 MR are very different

I have tried the GX Sonic 3 MR, 5 ST and 5 MR. For the 100 breast, I would rank them as 1. 3 MR 2. 5 ST 3. 5 MR. There really isn't anything like the 3 MR out there IMO. I wish Mizuno would make a new suit that feels similar to it.

Know this is an old video but was wondering if you ever tried the venzo phantom and if you have, what are your thoughts on it for events like 200 or breaststroke?
U swim 200 breast and personally I think the normal venzo is much better than the phantom, the phantom just doesn’t have enough compression and taping
Still too expensive for me, since you can get Mizuno GX Sonic V's for more than $100 cheaper. But price aside, would you pick the GX Sonic V ST or the Shockwave?

I haven't seen a review of the TYR Invictus suit. Is it the same as the old TYR Tracer? What is your opinion, and what events are it best used for?
I’m not actually sure about the Invictus so can’t help

This would be great but also a Mizuno MR or SL
I can't wait to race in this suit, I'm much more of a sprinter/breaststroker. So it will feel good in the water

No absolutes, both are awesome! I’d be happy with either :)

3 MR if you can get one. Valor if you don’t like compression. Glide is you like Arena

Mizuno SL or Pure Valor or Carbon Air2

Do you think that the TYR Shockwave or Venzo is more buoyant? I’m a heavy swimmer who did well in the Venzo genesis last year (2&4 IM) and was wondering if I should switch to the shockwave.
