A side note: The fight can be ended much faster with well placed Empowered Mortal draw strikes, ceremonial tanto, unbrella tools, and the like, but our video is to give you and others a chance to see how to counter his moves. As said, he shares many weaknesses with guardian ape. Namely his size. Step dodges, grapples, and really sticking to his legs are important. Enjoy! 😋💕
@ Thanks for the compliments! 💕The second phase makes heavy use of the Mikiri Counter. It's learning to read whether or not he's going for a sweep or a thrust that can be tricky at first, and how well you have your timing down on the Mikiri Counter. Inner Isshin is even harder. He has an AOE with the black mortal blade that kills in one hit if not perfectly deflected. It's that version that got me this good.
@ You'll need immortal severance if I remember right. Then you'll need to fight through the Immortal severance Gauntlet of Strength boss rush and at least make it to him for him to show up in Reflection of Strength. Edit: There are 3 inner bosses tied to 3 gauntlets. Only Shura requires the Shura ending. The rewards for beating the 3 are as follows: Inner Genichero: Sakura Dance skill, Inner Genichero memory. Inner Owl: Shura outfit (Sekiro's wearing in this video) Inner Isshin: Tengu Outfit.
@@TwinsPlay777 I’m doing my first run without the Charm. It’s easier than I expected, to be honest. But then again I was hyping myself up for the fight of my life. 😂
@ Sekiro is pretty much tied with Demon's Souls, and Elden Ring as what we'd call "Perfect" games by Miyazaki. Bloodborne too! Glad you love it as much as we do!
@@franchellevanheerden Haha! We've played this game for about 500 between the two of us, and it's combat never gets old! All the ways you can fight these bosses is insane too! It's pretty much a tie to us on Sekiro, Demon's Souls, and Elden Ring as Miyazaki's finest games we absolutely love! 🥰💕

@ He is one of the more difficult beast type bosses, but shares similar weaknesses as a result to Guardian Ape. Sure, we will.
