When I worked I didn’t make the bed before leaving for work because my husband was still in it asleep. I asked him once to make it when he got up and it looked worse 🫤. Now that I’m retired it gets made every day. One of my personal joys in retirement. I enjoy your videos.

Hello Robin - I do not make my bed immediately after I get up. I throw the covers back to “air it out”. I have my coffee, read the newspaper and then I get dressed for the day. I do make my bed each morning after I get dressed. This is something I learned from my grandmother who always told me “an unmade bed is the sign of a lazy homemaker”…..lol
But I certainly understand if the bed doesn’t get made every day especially if you work outside the home! Love those bunnies! Hugs from your PA friend ❤️❤️ xoxo

I always make my bed,for me it's kinda being grateful that I am blessed to have a bed. There are many people that don't have a bed to sleep in. It's my thank you to God .❤

Hey Robin. I dont wear makeup much anymore. I'm 58 drive a school bus .I will put a little eye shadow on and tinted moisturizer for church and a little lip gloss. I pull up the covers on my side of the bed and thrn my husband pulls his up. But its not all the way made thru the week. Happy Mothers day. Hydrangeas are my favorite flower. Also limelights. Laney is adorable!

Hey Friend, Happy Monday. I don’t ever wear makeup, I want to be 100% natural. I love that you are journaling and then editing a RUclips video in this video, it shows how you spend some of your weekend. That is some heavy rain, I’m glad there wasn’t any major damage. 😮 I don’t do a good keeping my bed made either because I work a busy schedule. I have been wanting to go through my clothes and get rid of what I don’t wear/what doesn’t fit me anymore.

I use to love visiting her. She lived in Houston, then moved to Sugarland. We had so much fun shopping, girl talk. All the sister things 💖 Sadly, we lost her in 2006. We have so much in common. I too don't wear makeup on the weekends. Lol. During the week, for work. Yes. I also do not worry about making my bed in the morning. Hi Robin, Tricia from Garden City, NY here. Did hear about all the rain in Texas in the news! Hope your flower beds are ok! I make my bed every day! I work from home so I definitely have the time in the morning. I certainly don’t get up as early as you though. lol. I admire early risers! I used to get up around 6 am to get the kiddos ready for school but that season has passed! Thx for the motivation to clean my closet. I need to set my timer and see what I can do for 15-30 minutes. I definitely don’t wear at least 60% of what’s in there. Why do we keep it then? That’s going to. be my next project!! Hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! ❤ from NY.

Hi Robin....yes I'm a bed maker....but at night when I'm tired....I ask myself why. Lol. However I haven't made it this week....I broke my pinky toe last Sunday and the next day I was scheduled for surgery for Basil Cell removal on my arm. I'll tell ya when it rains is pours....but so many people going through a lot more. A pinky is small but the pain is huge. Thanks for the video my friend. Your plants are so nice and will give you lots if joy. Blessings my friend. ❤
I love your flower beds..you have really worked hard n it shows..i used to not go anywhere with out my make-up on or hair done, but now that im older, i dont worry about it that much..lol..when we were at home, we had to change our sheets twice a week n make our bed every morning before coming out of our bedroom for breakfast..i hated that..now i make ours most mornings, but if i chose not too, ol well...lol..life is too short to worry about small things like that..if i leave early in the morning, to go to work, my precious husband will make it for me..i help my daughter alot with her business, and on the days that she dont help me with my own business..lol..ive cut mine (work) back alot, my husbands health isn't good, so i enjoy doing as much together as we can..happy mothers day..n tfs.
Hi Robin! Love these resets, even if it was a shorter video. I get out of bed at 6:15 every morning, but ny husband only gets up at 7:45. It's his job to open a window and air out the bed while he has breakfast. When he is done he gets dressed and makes the bed. This has worked out well for me because I hate making the bed. That is some serious rain my gosh! So glad there was no damage. Love hydrangeas! Have quite a few in my county home. Keep us updated, really hope the do well for you because they make a beautiful bouquet!❤

You are correct...beds need to "Air-out" for a while before making. I love getting into a made bed...with the sheets are tight as possible!!!! So mine is made everyday!!!
Hi Robin, no to making bed everyday. Love the hydrangeas plants. I have several. When the season has ended I cut all the way down . They come back doubled in size. Good job on the closet. Hope you had a great mothers day! Have a good week, my friend!

You know I’m a bed maker!! It’s like having dirty dishes in the sink. I do wait a bit with the sheets pulled down for maybe 30 min so they can air. My bed is in direct view from all of downstairs so it is very visible since I don’t shut the bedroom door.

Hello from West Virginia! We recently had flooding, but it didn’t reach our house! I downsized my clothes a few months ago after I retired from teaching. A couple of people came over and helped me get rid of all those teacher clothes! I enjoy watching your channel.
It seems I have mentioned this before, but I always make my bed every morning. And I almost always put on makeup. I am retired now and I never know what a day may bring my way so I try to be semi prepared. When I was working, I got up at 4:30 and my husband slept until 5:00 or so. As soon as he was out of the bed, I made it because I truly would have hated to be at work knowing my bed was unmade! Ha! I have always had a fear of dying suddenly and someone having to come in and find my bed unmade. Isn't that silly? As you would say, that's just me. Everyone has their own way and that keeps things interesting. Your closet actually looked pretty good to start with! For someone who is careful about making her bed, I am horrible at keeping my closet neat! I need to get rid of so many things, but I am a closet hoarder! If I can still wear something, I keep it whether I actually wear it or not. Crazy I know. Thanks for the motivation though. I am going to try to tackle my closet this week. Especially if we get the rain they say we are. It would be a good time to do that. Thank you Robin. I hope you had an awesome Mother's Day!

Happy Mother’s Day Robin! We have had so much rain here as well. Today was a wash out so we just stayed home which is fine by me. I’m good to spend MD at home with my family, no makeup & comfy clothes! We tried Hydrangeas last year here in North Texas & they just couldn’t handle the heat. 😔 Sure hope you have better luck!

Well I have to many clothes and I do clean out and donate .I've always heard if you don't wear something in a years time get rid of it . I also am a pocketbook, shoes,and jewelry person but now I'm retired I don't dress up and have certain things I wash and wear. So I definitely got a problem and plan every week to down size my wardrobe. But I keep finding other things to do and put it off . Now seeing you trying to stay on top of yours maybe will motivate me . When I worked I didn't make my bed during the week either just on weekends. Now that we're retired Tommy or me make ours everyday just a habit now . Boy things do change. Your little granddaughter is so cute I know she's got to be a joy. Hi Robin I make my bed first thing before coffee it only takes two seconds and it just makes the room look put together. Also have you and your husband ever checked in some sort of drainage in your yard? There are so many different ways for drainage to be able to get that water flowing down from around your doors etc.
I stay in my bed a lot due to health issues so it doesn’t get made and even before I just didn’t make mine everyday either. I would just love to get my things down to one closet and not 3. (And they are good size closets) The really sad thing is I don’t get out of the house except to go to doctors and I only need probably a 1/2 closet. 🤦♀
I’m the same way, only make my bed when l wash my sheets weekly. I spray my sheets every morning with Lysol linen spray , and kind of straighten it just before bed time. Plus my husband is in bed when l get up for work, we have different work hours.
