Misty (Kent Hewitt arrangement)

I traveled to Lubec, Maine to study with the jazz piano master, Kent Hewitt, at the Summerkeys program. This is his arrangement of Misty which you can find on his channel. I’ve been working on it for a few months and I had the honor of him recording this video while I got to play it for him on an old Steinway in a church built in 1810. I got one take and this was it.
