Currently doing a complete rebuild after a terrible crash. Parts that I have on mine that are not stock are: -Traxxas aluminum chassis brace -Hot Racing 90mm rear limiting straps -Traxxas Wheelie Bar -Traxxas aluminum wheelie bar wheels -Hot Racing front and rear metal skid plates -Traxxas Steel spur gear -GP underglow light strips -Integy center steel skid plate -Savox high torque titanium servos - 40 weight rear shock oil -Castle motors fan -Proline 3.8 street fighter belted wheels -RPM front bumper -RPM body savors -Traxxas sway bar kit After owning this car for the past 7 months it has been the most expensive rc car for me to maintain. I have replaced dozens of more parts but those I replaced with stock parts nothing different.
Nice upgrades, too bad for the crash that always sucks when you really have to put a lot of work into a vehicle that is already pricey out of the box! We’re you ramp jumping it ? How did you crash it to the point of a complete rebuild? And where are you guys getting the HR limiting straps I can’t find em sold out everywhere I look, I’ve already got some servos on order and I’m gonna get the metal center drive shaft, already got the wheelie bar, chassis brace and module
@@rcreviews9894 I let someone else drive my car and it was being driven down a street at speeds around 55 mph and hit a Toyota Tacoma. Do not cut the cables from the ESC, because the VXLs are defective and sooner or later there will be an error. Do not lose your warranty and after the warranty change your electronics to Spektrum.
I have the e-revo 2.0 a year ago. Everything still works and nothing is broken. Of course everything is stock. The big problem with the ESC was solved with a firmware upgrade. M I always tell people that if you change something on the car, there is a higher risk you break something. Adding weight, bigger wheels, stiffen certain parts will stress the car more than the factory default. More weight, then electronics must work harder and temperature increase. Adding metal parts, then other parts will break more easily. Not saying you shouldn’t change your car, but always consider how it will affect other things.
@@Rceverything2 if I remember correctly, it was around 6 - 650, the prices are always changing, I would check out Amain . com, that’s where I get most of my Rc’s, they are sometimes cheaper than buying directly from Traxxas, or try your local hobby shop.
