Notes from the composer:
"After recently finishing a series of fantasies and transcriptions, I have decided to compose an original piece. The main theme of the march is kind of a fanfare and has an uplifting characteristic. Then the piece develops in a rather liberal manner, akin to a fantasy. The motifs in the main theme were transformed into the subsequent themes of the piece in an attempt at motivic transformation."
