I love a lot of these. Abigail, Leah, Aaron, Caleb, Seth, Damaris, Miriam, Silas, Asa, and Micah are all great. Micah and Caleb are two of my top picks for a boy. I love Magdalena for girls which is a form of Magdalene (Mary Magdalene), Sarah, and Lydia. This was a great list!
I have two unique names to contribute. The name Photina for a girl. She is said to be the woman at the well. Who goes on to be a martyr. The name Zebulun ( or Zebulon) for a boy. He was the sixth son of Jacob. It is also a Hebrew name meaning light
You had me at Abigail! It is so sweet and elegant and I would love it as either a classic first name or an unexpected and pretty middle name. Esther is lovely and charming and a great Hannah alternative. Rebecca is sweet and beautiful , but I Do much prefer the Biblical spelling of Rebekah. Joanna is sweet, classic and elegant and I love the nickname options and the fact that like Rebecca and Esther is familiar and yet not overly used these days. Leah is my favorite! So sweet and pretty ( despite its not so pretty meaning) and easy to spell and say . Aaron is a Great Aidan alternative,it is classic and familiar but not heard on every playground anymore. Caleb is great and in my opinion a great and fresher alternative to Jacob, which is also great , even though not too long ago it was quite overexposed.Josiah is a sweet and adorable Joshua or Joseph alternative ( although Joseph Is a great choice in my humble opinion.) . I think Ezekiel Seth would be an awesome choice for a little boy . Damaris is pretty! Miriam is a very beautiful and sweet and classy name and I love it as a traditional but unexpected alternative to Mary .I love Naomi, Elizabeth, Hannah, Keturah, Eden, Anna, Sarah, Keziah, Selah , Rachel and Susanna and Tamar and Zippirah for girls as well as Phoebe and Deborah. For boys I love: Asher, Andrew, Jonah, Benjamin, Ezra , Ezekiel, Timothy, Silas, Isaac, Elijah, Isaiah, Jericho, Zephaniah, Zedekiah, Titus , Joseph, Joa, Solomon and Levi.
I’m due in March and we are naming our baby girl a unique biblical name, her name is Selah! (Pronounced “Say-luh”) It means to pause and praise🤍
Congratulations! That is such a stunning name and I love the meaning too💜
