Dude thanks for making these videos. I’m a college student, and watching your videos make me feel like I’m learning life skills which I never learnt before
bro same here this is so relatable lol i can't believe how much "common knowledge" shit I haven't never knew before and how much my parents coddled me until I have to live by myself now in uni
I've been defrosting meat in hot water for decades. The trick is to replace water every 5 min and there's no time for anything to spoil or enough bacteria to grow in 15 to 20 min
my advice for thawing really quickly is to leave the tap on just slightly; this lets the cold water trickle out meaning that the frozen food will always be thawing instead of waiting for you to change the water. its even better if you let the water stream trickle onto the bag of food itself.
A pressure cooker will thaw and cook the meat evenly! I've been doing it for years with frozen chicken breasts: add your spices to the bottom of the pot, put just enough water to cover the spices, then put in that frozen chicken breast.
I can't recommend Adam Ragusea's method enough! Put it in a bag in a bowl/pot and fill with water, and let the water drip into the bowl until thawed. It doesn't use much water.
The best water method is actually running water so that the water in the bowl stays the same temperature. With room temperature water if I remember my OSHA class correctly. (I may not, its been years.)
For frozen steaks throw them in a freezer bag or 2 in some room temp water for 25 minutes, then pat dry w paper towels and another 20 minutes, then pat dry again, season, and sear
I use slightly warm unless its chicken or poultry and pork. But beef hamburger meat what im trying to look at right now cause im in a jam. I can make spaghetti but the meat is frozen. I dont like using the microwave to defrost because it over cooks it i feel
I love to defrost it in the microwave it's the fastest, but usually the meat/chicken outer part will get cook a lil' bit n the middle still frozen, how to prevent this, any hack?
I wonder why using hot water is so bad. It gets the job done much faster. I just throw my frozen chicken parts in super hot tap and my chicken is ready to cook in about 35-45 minutes. I never let it sit around for hours after defrosting this way so where's the danger. It goes right it the oven or the frying pan .
bro got the rolls royce microwave 💀💀
This comment right here ! Lol
We solved bros money problems 😂😂
Is there a 1 minute thaw technique for when my mom is opening the front door and I forgot to take the chicken out?
Hope you did the dishes and threw the thrash at least to minimize the rage.. seeing how this was 7 months ago. RIP 🙏🏽
Still no update, I’m afraid our friend is K.I.A.
Came back to check if bro was still with us😢

Same
Feel like your learning skills? Wtf does that mean 😂😂😂
I usually go with 45 minutes in the dryer, use a fabric softener sheet if you forgot to marinade it
Had to read twice 😂😂
Can I put it in pot and boil it immediately while chicken being frozen?
@@Simple_Info11why the fuck would you boil chicken
@@yamilito4558dude have you never had stew before?
@@Simple_Info11of course, it’s just that it’s gonna take a bit more energy to get the liquid you’re cooking in up to temp
When i heard wait for 24 hour 💀💀
Right Tf ima just add hot water, we good😎
@@JJ_issomethingthat's what I usually do, f*ck I'm gonna cook it anyway so who's scared of a lil bacteria🤣

The “but I want it now :(“ was so accurate 😂

Key and peeles new season is helpful AF!
How many 30 minutes does this take?

I thought I was watching a Key And Peele skit😂

I love these videos. So much potential, so many possibilities
Quick, simple, and great information.
This is a super quick way to defrost..
*Put in the fridge for 24 hours or Chang water every 30 mins for...?😂👍

Don't overload your septic system doing so, however! 😲✌️😎
@@gus473 from what I recall, the water is not supposed to be full blast. Just a small stream.
Finally I can defrost the chicken before mom gets home 😂
I've been using the "throwing it in the sink for 8-10 hours" method for ~40yrs. Works well.
im so coming back to these videos when i go to college

This is literally a problem I'm having right this second. You've done it again, problem solver man
I love El Monterrey taquitos! They are delicious! 😊
Why not hot water?
Food safety
Add salt to the water. The salt helps melt the ice
place it on an aluminum baking sheet and it'll defrost much quicker
Thank you❤
okay but how long for the water method???
Chocolate rain 😩🍫👐🏾
Ok, but those taquitos are so delicious lol
In the refrigerator that’s not fast how many hours will it take?
Idk why but this video gives me “watching Good Eats in 2001” vibes (that’s a compliment 😅)

Don't switch the water every 30 minutes, what a waste of water...
Andre's grandma definitely sounds like she has dementia.

Last momeals aren’t planned ahead, that’s why we call them last minute meals!
You can use a “thaw belt” to secure your food underwater
Wait, please explain why not using hot water?? I’ve been doing it all my life with hot water to melt the ice quicker.
💯👍thanks
that microwave can probably read
I'm too impatient for 30 minute rotations
At least the people in flint Michigan can use that water for something 😅
I just take it out of the freezer around lunch time or whenever I remember and it’s good

Dawg one time I put beef in boiling water to thaw it 😅
Why did he say not to use hot water for defrosting?
Cooks your food
It can start cooking your food and cause the growth of bacteria.
Every 30min💀
Bro it’ll thaw on the counter by itself in 2h
100% correct.
I want it now!
You got it just wait 25 hours
Or use a meat thawer. It’s amazing 😊
Freezing itself is already compromised in its quality especially the flavor😂
❤
I love you
Why not warm water
Thanks dad
never use hot? but why
guys so zesty it PISSES ME OFF
I just used hot water, ima just send it it’s too late
24 hour and replace the water every 30 minutes? Who do you think I am😂😂
No reason to use cold water, dont use water hot enough to cook the food but to say it has to be cold is asinine
Wtf man I want to eat the sausages now! Not 8 hours later
Love you
bruh the purpose of thawing is to use or cook that product right away not waiting for a whole day or an hour waiting
Single use plastic 🥰🥰🥰
Instantly just put it in boiling hot water-
Your requirement is not matching with your communication. You have good communication nothing more😂😂😂
but if you thraw meat in the fridge bacteria can grow, thats atleast what ive heard
I didn't know some of these thank you!♡
"never use hot".... me who has been using hot all her life😟🙃🥺🤮😵💫😳
Oops, I used hot water.
😀😃😄😄😆
Salt & vinegar thaws in 5-15 minutes
Please don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know his food. You need hot water
🍫🌧️
*Why u people eat Frozen cold aged food* - Use fresh
24 hours is not really fast is it 💀
Every 30 mins? That's too long
So there is no FAST WAY!
I just bake the frozen chicken.
Wait this is all too long I need a 5 minute thing
Not quick
Zesty.
I’m using the microwave
🍫🌧️😫
Dave Chappelle needs to see this dude
Love you man
Thts definitely a woman transitioning into a man
Nice video
This is NOT quick🤣
This Gen lost
It’s ALWAYS BEST to gently defrost your frozen food and NOT cook or warm anything but water in a microwave - just use your stove.
Ehh, I'll risk using the microwave for veggie side dishes when I'm almost done with the main.
Fail
Why not hot
Why never use hot?
Promotes bacterial growth 🦠😮
@@gus473 Also has the propensity to start partially cooking the outside while the inside is still frozen.
😃 When is the free "Subscribers Only" dinner, anyway? 🤔😉😎
