2:33 This is an Iron hand marine, they like to replace their organic parts with mechanisms. An old tradition from the time they were a legion led by Ferrus Manus

      @micheal5973 2 года назад +2

Not quite from before the heresy. They had the tradition of replacing a single hand to mimick ferrus’s silver hands. But it was only after he was killed that they went whole flesh is weak route and the older ones becoming pretty much all machine.

@@micheal5973 No, they considered flesh is weak even when he was still alive and pre heresy. The more bionics a marine had, the less weak he was considered to be. You can clearly see that in Nick Kyme novel: Feat of Iron

Marines will often get augmet8cs to replace lost bady parts. Some chapters like the Iron Hands who all replace a hand and get elective "upgrades' to enhance strength and reliance.

the 2nd battle with the orks on Armageddon(3rd big battle for Armageddon with deamons been the first) dwarfed anything shown so far.. Mr. G Thraka goes all out in his return to Armageddon and is definitly worth watching a vid on it or even reading. waaaagh !!!

If you want to look outside the official lore for Ghazkull Thraker you might find a somewhat surprising real life inspiration that GW used for him 😅

Many warriors of the Imperium, Astartes or Guardsman, will replace lost or badly damaged limbs with "augmetics". Depending on the quality, the limb could be nigh indistinguishable from the original, gilded and ornate or bulky and obvious. They are often stonger or better functioning than the originals too.
There are those who willingly surrender their flesh and replace their body parts with 'superior' metal. The Adeptus Mechanicus for example, the Imperium's construction, repair and design experts, believe that the more they upgrade and replace their bodies, the closer they are to the Machine God. Others simply wish to strengthen themselves at the cost of their own flesh.

JARIK is at the later stages of the wars of armagedon by far more than 100 years old and the orcs belive in him as a powerful worrier and how their believe works may be what keeps him alive at this point

2:40 Space Marines don't really have standard cybernetics besides of the Black Carpace - a set of plugs from their nervous system to better use their Power Armour. Human power Armour perdicts movement of it's wearer while Marines are hooked to move their armour as their secound body which results in better reflexes and control. If Marines loose body parts then they are given cybernetics which will be slightly weaker than Astartes Muscule. Marines do not regrow bodyparts, this is one of their few "weaknesses". The Marine shown here is an Iron Hand who replace their body parts as part of their traditions related to the Mechanicus. What we see is a cybernetic arm that was mostly torn off.
4:00 Ork Rokz don't need to be hollow. They just take an asteroid and strap engines to it, everything else is whatever. They can be hollow, they can be not. During the Battle of Armageddon Orkz deployed hollow Rokz masquarading as bombardment but they had teleporters and repair workshops hidden inside which was discovered too late.
4:45 You can technicly have a planet-wide sweep with flamethrowers to purge all the fungus but it's an operation so extensive that for bigger planets Exterminatus actually ends up more feaseable.
4:50 THAT was a Mega-Armoured Nob. An elite Ork who is just a living head driving a fully mechanical body. Yes, orkz do this voluntarily. Funniest part is that this runs on fuel, they have diesel engines on their backs! xDDDDD
12:00 Orks don't die of old age. They can live for thusands of years like the Eldar as far as we know. They can survive beeing frozen and even live up after beeing thrown into the vacuum of space. There is also a theory about Ghazkull that he sees his visions because the adamantine plate is his antena to recieve signals from the gods.
30:13 The Secound War for Armageddon is about Ghazkull returning to Armageddon. It's the war Helsreach takes place is. There was also another war for the planet when deamons tried to take over before the orks ever shown up, so technicly this would be the 3rd War for Armageddon. The war itself was simply a tactical spectacle of Hive Cities falling left and right as Ghazkull left halfway to duel Yarrick in small-time operations while the imperium desperately mopped up the greenskins away.
Consider Ork rules are just about rolling a lot of dice and seeing if you get lucky or not, the greenskin players stumble to victory too. There are different ways to build ork armies around (orks, vehicles, grethin, gargants...) and all them are equally based on RNG. The great thing is that Orkz can enslave other races as low tier fodder while using their scrap. Maybe they drive around in eldar scrap, maybe they have necron parts as cybernetics, maybe they have tau guns or other stuff like that. A third of ork vehicles don't have models and you are supposed to bash something together yourself, making even their looks random.

Gazkhull has been doing a lot in the background and he’s had a few major battles since but he’s really focused on getting Armageddon. That place might as well be the holy land for his Waagh because if he can take that planet then he believes he can take any planet in the Galaxy.

Well done. Armageddon is indeed the planet in the Helsreach. But Helsreach is set during the 3rd war of Armageddon (Although to the Imperial citizens it will only be the 2nd war. Nearly all records of the 1st war have been destroyed as it was a Chaos invasion). This vid just gave you a Very brief overview of the 2nd war.
As to your "speed of learning", you are doing a Feth-load better than most do. Feth, I've been collecting since '89 & I couldn't give you a full lore deep dive in to each race in 40K. You proved it in this vid by recognising Armageddon.

Aloha, thanks first of all for your great videos!
I would be interested to know how you react to "AMV videos" on Warhammer. Such videos often present in a great way what Warhammer Fantasy or Warhammer 40k is all about.
If you want, I can suggest you two videos.

If you ever get bored arch’s war for armageddon series is a series on some of the biggest ork wars in history involving gazghul and his great playmate commisar yarrick.
Yarrick lost an arm to an ork warboss. So he chopped off the orks power claw and had his own replaced with it. The orks started believing that to be gazed at by yarrick was death, so he replaced his eye with a lazer. Then there was the fun where gaz was going to invade armagedon again so he invited yarrick over for tea and let him prepare armagedons defences just because it would be no fun if yarrick wasn’t there to play for round two. Then there was the time yarrick got run over by his own baneblade, one of the biggest tanks in the imperial arsenal, and just walked it off….
