Good point! I think if anything was actual censorship it was probably imposed by the label, worrying that Disney might raise hell due to the possibility of infringement.

Very interesting. The only album cover change that I know about off the top of my head is one of the Rolling Stones album that had Lucille Ball on it and had to take her out later. Excuse me for not knowing the album name. I don't know a lot of Rock albums

I’ll have to look that one up! The one I think I hear about most is the infamous “Butcher Cover” from The Beatles.
