Thank you for taking time to make this video! I've been parked on macOS 15.7 for a while now and have been cautiously debating whether to "upgrade" to the current available 16.2. Based on your results, it looks like my best bet is to stick with what I'm using for now. I appreciate your help/summary!
i think it comes down to which macbook year you have...i got a 2015 mb pro...i think High Sierra is ultimately the best option, especially for the battery....
@@lathanh.officiali dont know how mojave works. I was on sierra, then high sierra and now im on catalina, and battery life is the same as high sierra. I dont feel any diference
Impressive! I appreciate unique content. Many RUclipsrs only review new products without meaningful comparisons, resulting in repetitive videos. I'm considering upgrading from my M1 Mac Studio Ultra to Ventura, but I'll wait for Sonoma to become more stable and compatible with my third-party plugins.
@@manuel0578if you actually watch the video you see he also provides benchmarks. which DOES have to do with a Mac Studio and not only with battery life
Pretty nice and good work! I think Monterey might be newer as you mentioned so it’s not as polished yet. I also think that it’s probably more optimised for Apple Silicon so maybe not as good on Intel. Not sure tho haha
This is strange, because monterey is the best at battery health for me, way better than catalina. MBP early 2015. But definitely, i had to return to mojave, video stuff like youtube, videoclass at university, etc. was so laggy in monterey.
Bogus test. You need to run each version multiple times, with a cooldown between. The variance between runs may be the same as the difference between individual runs of each version. There's probably little measurable difference between versions.
@AllRandomThings what about developers that need Xcode for iOS development or those that want to use apple-specific software like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, etc.
well made video! It helped me decide to stick with catalina, since I am using a thinkpad from 2015

i got the 2014 mid mbp highsierra still running dont want to risk app compatibility
I got a 2016 and I tried high sierra and it was the slowest thing so i am back on macos sierra
I was on Sierra and recently uptated to High Sierra. My mac improves a lot. (MBP early 2015 with 256ssd and 8gb ram)
@@D4aniB what do you think about Mojave on macbook pro 2015 bro?

What? Nothing of what you’re saying makes sense. And this is a battery comparison. What does that have to do with a Mac Studio?!

please update it with Mac Ventura.
Should be the same as Monterey
@@PizzaKing_GT On my brothers macbook pro it is so much worse
