Hi, thanks for the tutorial! May I know how to draw the background and the shadow for the logo like the cover of the video? Thank you very much!
Hi Nicole. The background is just an image i created in photoshop and the shadow is just a Black circle where i used the gradient tool to fade out the edges and then shrank it down to a flat circle that looks like its on the grund ☺️

The "expand appearance" appears on grey to me, so it doesn't let me click it, I cliked "Expand" and then chose "stroke" and that worked, what is the difference between those two tho? And how do I make "expand appearance" available?
I have a video on what the difference is if you like to know. Expand will turn the path into a shape and expand appearance will just apply effects to a path. You will understand if you watch the video ☺️

What does expand appearance do?
Excellent question. Expand appearance basically makes the path follow what the effect does. For instance If you make a straight line and apply an arc effect to it the path will still be straight but the effekt make the stroke looks arced. If you then expand appearance the path will be arced as well which means that you can now use this path with the shape builder and such ☺️

Never understand illustrator. Make the rings rings and not a line(path) and give it a width.
