Let's settle this gloating of the popular vote once and for all. In California, Hillary had 8,753,788 votes. President Trump had 4,483,810 votes in Cali. Hillary won California by 4,269,978 votes. Hillary won the national popular vote by 2,864,903 votes. HOWEVER, if you take the Republic of Socialist California out of the mix, Donald won from the remaining states/territories by 1,355,075 votes (Pres Trump had 58,496,350 to HRC's 57,141,275). This is the very reason the founders came-up with the electoral college. So no one state could overwhelm the popular vote and dictate who should be president for the rest of the country!! So all of you Hillary voters who self-righteously keep crying, "But Hillary won the popular vote"....Yeah, she won in California by over 4.2 million votes. However, Pres Trump won the popular vote cumulatively everywhere else by 1.3 million
