- Hello!! This is just a little practice for animating lipsyncs, cause I don't have much experience in it :)

The character in this video is part of a story I've been working on through various videos on my channel! She isn't a main character, but she'll be showing up in later videos! Their name is Birchspeckle :) at this point, she's only shown up in my soup video and my voiceclaims video haha

I know Birchspeckle has an unusually strong connection to StarClan, and now I'm really curious about why her eyes went blank at the end. Amazing lipsync btw!!!
I'm very happy to see more of my favorite bone marrow kitty cat. Getting needlessly attached to a character who has not appeared at all in the main story has many downsides but it does mean that I get very happy whenever I see anything related to her so I can't recommend becoming a Birchspeckle fan enough
Ok so I'm guessing with this because of appearance, but I have a theory.
Birchspeckle is the cat that died in the snow during the "is it cold outside?" video (plus also the wite eyes shown here), and is related to Mudpaw in one way or another, so her anger comes from seeing her kin be mistreated and abused while she is unable to help him because of her unalive nature.

This is amazing! May I ask how you get your quality so crisp? I also use Procreate and Capcut but whenever I want to upload it anywhere you can basically count the pixels😭
Aaaa thank you! When I use Procreate and CapCut, I try to pay close attention to my canvas sizes (procreate) and export quality (capcut) when I’m working on a project.
In procreate, I make my canvases at least 1080x1920 pixels (if im planning on doing any panning/zooms in the video, I’ll use a larger canvas). When I transfer those drawing to capcut for editing, they’ll look a little fuzzy in the program itself, but once it’s time to export the video, there are options for what quality you can export in! I always export the video at 1080p, and save it to my device directly instead of uploading from capcut. Then, when I want to upload, I do it from the higher quality saved video in my files.

I find it incredibly hard to animate on procreate when trying to sync it with audio, so good job for doing it smoothly here! If I may ask, how do you do it? Do you storyboard your animation on an application that lets you animate with audio? Once again, great job!! 👍👍
My solution is kinda convoluted honestly 😅
I figure out keyframes for timing in CapCut (the “rough sketches” section from the video), and since I animate at 10 frames per second, I can check the length of each of those frames and see how long they last, which translates into the amount of frames between each keyframe. So if one of those keyframes lasts .4 seconds, that means I’ll end up drawing 4 frames for the little piece of the animation! If you look at the upper right corner of the “rough animation” part, at the end you can see where I wrote down how many frames I needed for each major movement haha. And since I’ve already synced the keyframes to the audio, the resulting animation is also synced!
Like I said, it’s kind of a convoluted work-around to the problem lol. Hope this helps!!

I would say that it’s helpful to plan everything out beforehand! If you write down what you want to happen at specific points, it’s easier to stick to a project and not lose steam!

I know that Birchspeckle’s eyes go blank when she’s seeing the past/future, but I’m not sure why that’s going on here. Her powers stretch farther that I thought!
