    The mattress pad wraps around the bassinet(when folded)! So it fits in the travel bag. Congrats! Great review!

    Wonderful review! You should find as with other grace play yards that the mattress will form a "box" around the folded playpen and secure with the straps and then slip neatly into the travel bag. I also believe that that particular bassinet design allows you to fold it with the bassinet still attached (though i could be wrong on that). Just some tips to make your life a little easier when traveling!

    I got sucked into buying this for the stage2 option. Baby was growing out of his bassinet yet didn't want him in a cot in his own room yet. I also loved the hood to block out light in our room. What a shame that the mattress size is the same size as a standard bassinet! You cannot have a toddler sleep in this at all! The lowest stage can not be used to sleep in unless your child is either very short or curls up to sleep. I cannot see how this would fit a baby over 5.5-6 months in stage 2 or 3! The hood has 2 teddy bears which face the other way so baby cannot even see them. You cannot put a baby monitor such as the babysense2 in unless you cut the mesh to make a hole!
    Stage 2 is also very very low.
    I paid $225 aud with the cheapest shipping option to Australia and I also bought the recommended mattress protector which is way too big. So all up over $250 Aud and very disappointed!

    I saw that there's another one that calls it "with stages"..I wanted to know if this particular lite travel you reviewed is the stage version...or it's just bassinet and play yard? the stages version, which has 3 stages can be for infant (as bassinet), lower level (for bigger babies) the mattress hangs lower and the mattress all the way on the base as a playyard..

    I just wished you would had showed how to put the sun shade toghter

      You curve the arm portion and then it attaches to the side the same way as the bassinet. Then there are little clips on the back to keep actual shade in place.

    How do you fold it to put it all in the travel bag? I can barely get my bed to fit into the mat to put in bag.

    • @beyondtherhetoric
      @beyondtherhetoric  6 лет назад

      Brute force and determination, really. It needs to be wrapped up pretty tight.

      @@beyondtherhetoric thanks. I got it all packed now but it was a struggle. I pretty much had to put stuff in individually. Love this little bed but this makes me want to only take it out if I really really really have to.

      You wrap the mattress pad around the collapsed crib. There should be some straps to hold it in place. Then you put it in the travel bag. This information should be in the instruction booklet. I don’t have this mini crib but I’ve used the regular sized Graco playpen and that’s how you pack it up.

    Where the hell do you find fitted sheets for this thing?

      I got mini crib sheets from Walmart and it fit perfect! I think parents choice brand? If you search mini crib sheet on Walmart site you will see it.

    Based on the title, I was expecting more opinion and evaluation of the product. I didn't expect that you hadn't used it yet. Your video description is good, but the title should say demo or overview instead of review.

      Yeah, it is pretty hard, but you don't want anything especially plush for newborns anyway.
