MIttens keep my hands warmer than gloves when I'm outside walking or shoveling snow. It's easier to actually "do" things with gloves and so I wear them when I drive but otherwise I'm a mitten girl ;)

When it is 40 F below zero, mittens help keep your fingers warm better than gloves. Yes, we do get that cold sometimes in Minnesota. Think about selling Girl Scout cookies in that--we have done it.😀

Mittens are a lot warmer than gloves because your fingers can be 'friends' with each other and cuddle together. Sometimes you even have to pull your thumbs out of the 'thumb tube' so they can cuddle along with the fingers.
As others have said, mittens keep your hands warmer. I love the combi gloves you can get. Fingerless gloves, with little sewn in mitten 'hats' that you can flip over your fingers when it gets too chilly.

I always wanted mittens when I was young, even though our climate is warm. I think it was because I loved "The 3 Little Kittens That Lost Their Mittens" rhyme.

mittens make your hand a bit warmer I think! thats why kids wear them too.. I remember from when I was a kid. I'm from northern Sweden.. and if people are not sure.. the Arctic Ocean is right above us :D ok Barents sea and then the Arctic Ocean! but Barents Sea is not very warm either 😂! so I sure know my cold and snowy weather.. hehe. I don't feel too handicapped wearing mittens, but I remember feeling that way wearing them as a kid! :D

I don't actually like mittens because I prefer to be able to move my fingers; I used to wear mittens all the time as a kid though! Anyhow, the VO with Aaron was nice as usual!
I love mittens. It's the same concept as the emergency treatment for hyperthermia, stripping off clothes and cuddling with a warm person for body heat. When all of your fingers are in the same pocket, they warm each other. :) In gloves, my fingers are all cold in their own little pocket. #themoreyouknow #canadianreference
I tend to think of mittens as being any knit/woven type glove (fingered or no fingers), and gloves all others made of leather or fabric/synthetic. Not sure why! But that's the way it is in my head. 😂
I also loved the bunny filler card! And yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with them, because I don't embellish my pictures much, but coordinating them when I don't have enough pictures can be tiresome..
When i Am on the bicycle, i always wear mittens (in winter). In my car i have a heater. I only wear gloves when it's really cold and i have to play tennis.

Mittens for small children - trying to get them to put each finger in a finger of a glove is a nightmare. I also have some that are fingerless gloves with a flap over to make into mittens so you can can undo the flap to use your fingers for stuff. :)

Adele don't you have kitten mittens, I thought you wore them in a few videos when it was winter there. They came over your fingers or could be halves...I think that was you anyway. Mittens are worn by kids so the parents (read teacher and 25 kids) don't have to fight with lots of fingers and turning them the right way. They also keep little fingers warmer because they're together.
