Dr Dray made me get a hydrafacial and it was amazing. Her channel showed her doing it as free trial when the hydrafacial company traveled in the US. Little pricey but what's nice is it makes the facial dummy proof. The esthetician office buys the machine and the formula from the company and the machine does a gentle exfoliation. If I had $ I would definitely buy the laser hair helmet she is reserved about her reviews on products and she studied the science on it and I trust her.

Correlation might not be causation, but here’s a couple of coinky-dinks for you: My CAT got diagnosed with acne, when I found a lump on her chin, freaked, and took her to the vet. She used to drink a ”catmilk” dairy product every day too, she loves that shit. I stopped giving her the ”catmilk” and her acne cured pretty quickly, and it never came back, except for one time after my parents had taken care of her for a while. I asked my mother; ”you have been giving catmilk to her, haven’t you”? And she admitted it. :3
And yeah, I have suffered from acne all my life as well. Milk chocolate and fatty cheeses always broke me out, but they were also my favourite treats as a vegetarian. Now I’m (mostly) vegan, my skin is smoother than ever and I never get those deep, truly painful cysts any more! \o/
So being dairy free works for me, AND my kitty-cat. Figure that! ^_^

Im so glad I’m not the only one who buys everything Dr Dray recommends!! Her best recommendations for me are the Aveeno Calm + Restore line and prosacea rosacea treatment gel. I have rosacea and those products have helped tremendously. The only misses have been the vanicream lip sunblock and Rosacare moisturizer. The vanicream left a heavy white cast on my lips and felt drying as I wore it. The rosacare wasn’t bad but I didn’t notice a difference in my rosacea when I used it.

I even used to bake myself in tanning beds in my teens and twenties.( Bc I have kp and excema, and SWORE the tanning helped) COULD YOU PLEASE do a video on FENTY skin/beauty SPF/moisturizer. I can be a pimple picker (yeah, I know I shouldn't) but it just drives me crazy so they really help w/that little obsession of mine and really do help get gunk out of some pimples. Cassandra, consider healing the lining of your gut and tackling disbyosis. Acne stems from the gut. The nerves of our face are directly linked to our gut. You may also consider consuming some raw sheep yogurt/milk. Raw animal fat will pull the toxins from your gut and help rebuild your tissues. Castor oils packs will also support your liver and get rid of acne on your body and face. The extra nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and enzymes) will help hair loss. ( Onion mask helps hair loss too)

What I love about Dr. Dray is how she delivers her content. No need to be so dramatic and put in a show. Just be honest and professional. I would surely really appreciate it as I used to love love love your channel, but now I feel under attack when watching your videos. You are such a smart, skintelectual person, I would love to hear more, but not in such a theatrical way.

I totally agree. I think she's trying to appeal to teeny boppers with her silliness and over-the-top drama. She's had several videos where she's doing some very bad dance moves in the beauty product stores. OMG!

    HELP!!!
I have rosacea and it’s at its best ever it’s still red but no where near as it was growing up. Now I’m 38 my skin probably looks as best as it’s ever been BUT I’m still struggling in find foundation that will cover the redness and pores and now obviously the fine lines 😔 I hate the caked on look and I’ve spent money I don’t have on many brands hoping finally it’ll sit on my face and not melt off or look caky!
I don’t know if it’s that I’m using maybe the wrong moisturizer or applying it on wrong 😔 I’m completely lost in what to do
Can I get some advice on what brand is best from oily Rosacea skin, the problem is on around my T zone around the edge of my face is super healthy . Every foundation seems to just sit in my pores 😔

Thanks for the video, Cassandra! Would you consider doing a comparison between the Paula's Choice product and the Peach Slices product? I'm curious as to how they compare. Strictly intellectual curiosity on my part because I don't have acne, since I took Accutane in 1981, and I wouldn't use a 2% BHA product; I'm pretty sure it would be too strong for my skin.
I do use the Paula's Choice Calm 1% BHA Sensitive Skin Exfoliant as a moisturizer every morning. However, I'm considering stopping use of it because I really don't know if I need a BHA product. I have dry, sensitive skin, with rosacea and my pores aren't an issue. And my philosophy is, the fewer products the better. I'm going to use up what I have, and not reorder, and see how my skin looks.
And I can't wait for the Skkn video!

can vouch for the irestore laser helmet..I have androgenic alopecia (female pattern hair loss) and have been using rogaine for 7 years for it. most women are also put on spironolactone (anti androgen) for it but I can’t take it due to low blood pressure (it can lower it further), so I have to do as many other methods of treatments as I can to compensate for that. I’ve been using the irestore helmet for 11 months now and my hair has absolutely improved immensely!!

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about how moisturizing your skin is actually bad?… I moisturize my skin daily and I’d love to hear your take and advice on this.
I have combination skin so I finally found a moisturizer that works for me and doesn’t break me out. It controls my oil and my dry skin. I use the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer along with the COSRX Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule Serum. I also use the Saturday Skin Yuzu Vitamin C Bright Eye Cream.
These three products have worked well for my sensitive skin and I’ve seen a difference after long-term use. I really can’t keep up with how skincare changes. I trust your advice and I’ve purchased a lot of products you recommend so I’d love to hear what you have to say and think about not using moisturizer anymore.
P.s. I have been subscribed to Dr. Drey for a while now and love her explanations and recommendations. She’s helped me understand my complicated skin and what to use/ not to use as well as why! You both have helped me immensely!
