7:26 is Timo's most iconic shot yet!
This is probably one of the greatest matches in table tennis history!
My favorite players!
Thanks for the uploader, really enjoyed it.
That celebration at the end though.
this was one of the greatest europen - asian matches of all time just legendary
omg that was a very intense match!
Just feel the energy of Ma Long. How relentless he is! The way he played is fantastic. Timo is a great player n gave a vry good fight.
one of the toughest and beautiful match I ever saw, both players are masters in my book
The game of speed and power.
great playing timo
Great match!
Damn this is the best game in WTTC 2013
Amazing
4:30 OMG
Great game!
Another bloody classic.
Ma Long really started attacking Timo's backhand near the end of the match. Ma was really pressured but his tactics worked out in the end.
Good match
timo is back !!
You can actually see that Liu Guoliang is quite nervous throughout this match. I guess this speaks for Boll, who - although an ageing star - is really in great shape right now.
Also, it is worth pointing out the clever use of spin variations on Ma's topspins (I know, everybody does that). In this match, it is quite noticeable referring to Boll's blocking and counterspinning errors.
What a shot by Timo Boll 7.33!??
Ma Long's movement is better. Probably because Timo is too old, I think he should change the tactics a bit.
Timo Boll got 2005 table tennis world cup men's single champion.
But hes forhand topsin is too long
@WARRIOR FIGHTER PAHLAWAN In 2009 he didn't participate in mens singles world championships because of injury. In 2019 he had to withdraw because he got ill
この勝負好き
Mad respect for Timo Boll. Though I know it feels devastating to consistently lose against the Chinese, he puts up one hell of a fight.
Congratulations to Ma Long!
man that was intense.
what a match
awesome !
Boll did a great match here... He put Ma Long under serious pressure. And that itself is a big achievement
from 4-0 clean sweep in 2012 to 4-2 defeat in 2013...what a come back this was for Timo Boll....if he would have given 1 more chance it was clearly his world cup...:)
I was there. Amazing!
He had to work for that win. Good show timo
熱いなーーこの試合
比賽!你個頭就試合
雞同鴨講
great
@StickeyPickey
For right handed players, serving on the left side allow the to perform a forehand top spin right after opponent return. Same thing for left handed person to serve on the right side
That son of a bitch tyoungos loves to comment stating the OBVIOUS and adding 5 stars to EVERY table tennis video.
Yeah, this dipshit comments on every TT video and is always full of disrespectful crap, and what's more - he must have few accounts to give himself likes on his comments so that they are always at the top of the chat. He also uses those to give dislike to other people's comments that are trying to put him in line. I hope he gets banned
antoshadon
Usually disrespecting those Non-Chinese. I don't know about the giving himself likes though. If you go to the TT forum with the most users you'll notice most of the guys there are old men who think they're "wise."
It's like a cluster of Tyoungoses...
ty0ung0s
Good one. Made me laugh.
You should be a comedian. You are good at it.
Ma Long needs to save some of this adrenaline and bring it to the WTTC
Ma Longs countertopspins were on point!
Ma Long always loses to Wang Hao, Wang Hao always loses to Zhang Jike, Zhang Jike always loses to Ma Long... xD
That's not true anymore :D :D :D
Fun Fact: Wang Hao is also the name of a top chess grandmaster.
Vulkan Vega who want to know?
uvuvwevwevwe onyetenyevwe ugwemubwem Ossas i
a true fact😆😆
nice game
Partidazo !!!
难得看到尓兄的状态如此的佳
MA LONG best player of all time :)
There is a logical error in your comment I am afraid. For even if it's true that Ma Long didn't play well against Wang Hao because Liu Guoliang wasn't there, this doesn't imply that Ma Long would not play enough well against Timo Boll if he were without Liu. Of course, Liu's guidance and coaching are wonderful.
Nice
I Love Malong
quá đỉnh
Timo boll wonderfull -_-
It's not necessarily easier, because the forehand is usually the better than the backhand. When serving from the left side of the table you automatically stand in the base-position to play on.
that was tight,,,
nice ball timo boll
waoo.. !! very fast
It's quite obvious that the better player wins, period.
Fritzi0, im a coacher in table tennis and im ALWAYS nerous that my 'player' gonna loose. I think all good coaches always gonna be nervous for the one eyou gonna coach is loosing..
LOL Timo Boll at the last point...:D XD
Timo in his prime is a different story.
Never seen ma long so happy
lightmobile
No Chinese player wants to lose to a foreigner especially if its Timo Boll who's Public Enemy number one of the CNT
Daebak 👍👍👍🙀🙀🙀🙀 !!
of course ma long my favorite win
thanks for your arguing; my point here is about Ma Long metal weakness; he was pumped to play against Boll, sounded like he won the title, he was extremely nervous, and this the reason drained him out, not by physical aspect. Then he met Wang Hao, a quite component, Ma Long respected his teammate or because of his ego, he did not show much emotion when winning a ball; this is totally different from Boll match.
His mind kept him down.
Malong know play timo boll skills makabisado sila ng laro
I THINK THEY ARE GOOD
Cool
7:26
ボル選手もうちょっとだったなー
でも、すごすぎ
so how ma long won so many matches against his teammates so far on pro tours or other tournaments? in those matches he didnt has coach also...
The second match was a good example of what happens when you don't spin a ball while a slam shot.
Really hope to see Boll win the game
Just a little bit...
He does it so he can alleviate the pressure on Ma Long. Maybe if the crowd didn't scream after a point for Timo, then he wouldn't have the need to cheer loudly for each point.
最後焦ったな(-。-;
nice game!
ma long`s coach is very important for him though is formidable ma how great game for timo wang hao crush to ma long because his was without coach zhang jike this unstoppable: D great tournament if ma long but his style will vary depending on the situacuion in which is would have been better
Otra vez Ma Long pierde en seminfinales con Wang Hao tercera vez consecutiva que pasa con Malong
yes, Timo can be proud to be the best Non-Chinese for years now. But in the end he goes without any reward as so many times. So a little frustrating to say the least...I heard this interview after the match and he mentioned the very high level and that he improved. Though he was also disappointed - of course!
For me Timo is the best
Was für ein Spin bei 8:13!!!
boll showed more emotion winning one point than any of the chinese did when ma won!
good match though.
8:55 -8:57 phew---relieved
Hay
LIKE si crees que timo puede dar mas
timo, you will catch him next time
ma long was a lot more vocal than usual in this match
3:24 dat flip
TaOOOO!!!! SCHWOOOOOO!!!! YaOOOOOO!!!!
You forget Timo has a coach too.
ese es Ma Long !!!!!!
馬龍好險
Nice tricks :-) Watch and learn my favourite best magic tricks from bayern munich
3:56 I wanted to see a Deuce :(
i know what you mean but he really does need to keep warmed up i guess.
no, el que grita los choooo fuerte es zhang jike
when any chinese player plays with unknown or known player from other country I want player from china to win .but when chinese player plays with Timo Boll I want Timo to win
google translate? =='
just a matter of one point ..timo was down 10 - 9 if he ame to 10-10 then he wouldve won 12 - 10 and eventually a decider
holding breath for 9:13..
Like 99% of left handers, Timo goes wide on his forehand leaving his backhand open to be exposed. Luckily, for him, his backhand makes up for it
Cho!!!
Umpire counting wrong at 4:59 ;)
And every time on 9-10 I'm like "Ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck":D
