- Land of Illusion Adventure Park in Middletown Ohio was known for many years as just a seasonal Haunt attraction during the fall, but has now expanded their offerings to include a water park among other things. In this video, I'll be talking about what my experience was like there, what the park offers, and finally-the exciting things Land of Illusion has planned for the future.

Amazing park I had never seen before.
I live in Middletown, so I've been a couple of times.
How do you feel about the proposed expansion? I've seen that there's definitely some resistance to it over there.

Holy cow I can’t wait to start going! I only ever remember it as a Halloween destination. I’m there for all those expansions
I know right? We don't really have anything around here like what they're talking about doing so I'm pretty stoked on the idea.

FYI their website says they’ve eliminated plans for roller coasters
I saw that as well, but that's what I was told by the director of marketing for the park when I spoke with him last Thursday. Not sure whether that means they figured out some way to do it by building a small indoor one like the one at scene 75 or what. All I know is I was told the plan is to eventually add some coasters.

I always see commercials about this place. Great to see they want to turn it into a Water Park. As much as I love Kings Island I've never been crazy about their water park. Growing up we went to The Beach quite often and in my opinion I thought The Beach had better slides. Sadly The Beach isn't what it used to be. So I hope Land of Illusion can create an awesome water park.
So they've actually already started on the water park side of things, but they have way bigger plans. There are some challenges involved in getting it approved, but if it goes ahead it's going to end up being a much much bigger park!
This expansion plan is bananas! Seriously, how many more reasons does an enthusiast need to visit (or relocate) to Ohio? Also, I audibly chortled as the camera zoomed in slowly to "Vodka"
I know right! I can't say I love everything about living in Ohio (the winters are what really kill me) but if you're into coasters and amusement parks, you kind of have it made in the shade if you live here. Also thanks, lol I was hoping someone would find that funny 😂.
Don’t underestimate zip line courses for a bit of a thrill. Hocking Hills in Ohio has a great one where you literally run off a cliff at one point
I've never done one actually, but they look like a lot of fun.
