@@EdBwoy I found myself still staring at every S50 Gen1 FX still so I picked up the FX45 again. It has enough performance for me at a price I can afford while keeping my QX56 too.
@@EdBwoy ok I have a question 🙋♂️. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and cannot find a part for my Infinity M35X 2006. Lower Control Arm Ball Joint. They ask me is it AWD or RWD. For my M35X. I Say AWD since they don’t have M35X listed on the part source website. So they search M35 AWD and cannot find any listing. So is the rwd M35 Lower control Ball joint the same as the AWD M35X? My only resort is to go to an Infinity dealership since I cannot find the part but it’s at least an hour away from where I live. I called Nissan up the guy said we don’t carry Infinity parts only Nissan which I call 🐄 💩 since they are the association with each other.
@@DiaperSNiFFER the ball joint isn't sold separately, so you have to buy the entire control arm. Check online and you might even be able to find aftermarket ones, like Dorman.
Hi there! I’m converting my steering wheel into black and having trouble ordering the steering wheel control panel switches. My current ones are beige but I’m trying to order one in black with identical features. Was hoping if you could help, million thanks!
Thank you for the excellent Video, this is much easier and clearer than the manual. Do you think IBA will help to stop the car before crashing, or just reduce the speed essentially DURING crashing?
Thank you for the kind words, I try to inform without over-simplifying. From what I have seen and understand of the IBA system, it will just reduce your speed greatly *before crashing* but since it in esswnce only functions above 10mph, that is the slowest it can take you to. It mitigates the speed at which you hit the vehicle in front of you.
Thank you for your thorough breakdown. I'm not sure if you covered this, but I wanted to know if the vehicle comes with blind spot monitoring, and if not, is there an aftermarket device I can purchase? KDK.
The simplest fix is that the sensor is dirty/obstructed. If cleaning it doesnt solve the issue, it would be wise to have a dealership or any other shop with a capable diagnostic tool look at it for you. Diagnosis isn't always cheap but it could save you a lot of frustration & guessing.
@@EdBwoy thank you brother. Problem solved. Short answer Loose battery terminal. Thanks again and I enjoy your videos. I also have an M35 so I watched some of your others in the past. Good vids/work.
Wow! Quite a strange connection there (pun intended), but I am glad you got it sorted out. I too like to enjoy all my car features when my vehicles have them.
The fcw/ldw on my 09 fx50S doesn't come on unless I push it to light to the on position, is it supposed to on by default when you turn the ignition on?
Correct, yours isn't technically AFS so it won't do the automatic vertical and horizontal correction. Yours is a manual system that depends on the driver to manually dip or raise the lights (mostly due to how the back was loaded). It accompanied the tow package, but then the FX driver has to know how to use it so they don't blind others.
Q45 looks sporty in the background Ed! I'm finally considering a FX50 so appreciate this video🙏
Both vehicles are gone by now sadly. I hope you've been able to find the right FX for you

Thanks mate, I wasn't aware of the cruise tweek - hilarious!
You're welcome Sir. I'm glad the video was educative to some extent
Can you test out the differences of The infinity’s FX50S Sport mode on vs Off, drive POV
It's difficult to put it in words since it's a difference in *suspension feel* , but I would love to do a video on that. Long term goal
@@EdBwoy try it out on sharp turns or when you are driving and steer more when going into a turn
@@DiaperSNiFFER I can tell when it works. I can feel it even on a smooth, flat road.
Translating that to video is the problem.

What about the QX56?
Amazing car. I hope I can find an fx50 s with the same package in the future.

Thank you, glad you found the video informative. Unfortunately none of the vehicles in this series came with any form of Blindspot monitoring

My 2010's AFS button is actually a dial from 1-3 that I've seen that adjusts the height, I haven't noticed it going left to right
