Like the Pica-Pau or Woody Woodpecker game, which is exclusive here, and Brazil has so much influence that a foreign company wanted to turn our mod into a game, but it couldn't because it didn't get permission from a Brazilian company. (I now some English but I preferred use Google Translator, but now I am not using the Google Translator)!

I saved money back in the day to buy a Sega Genesis game (known as megadrive III here) and I had to choose between Duke Nukem 3d or Virtua Fighter 2. I picked VF2 😂. Didn't had the idea that Duke Nukem 3d would become a expensive collector game in the future

That think about 3D games not being popular in Brazil in late 1990s, where did you get that info from? It's plain wrong. 3D games were popular, specially Playstation, however consoles are much more expensive here. Also, Tectoy did not break because of that, they broke because or late 1990s financial crisis that affected BRICS, leading to very high interest rates. I saw interviews with people from Tectoy, they don't claim what you say they claim, so you should check your sources.
It Sucks, it's Way Too Damn Hard, can't even get past %1 of the first level on Piece of Cake level. Control totally Sucks. Maybe if it was based on the Saturn and first PC versions it would be better and you could at least get past level 1
Yes, around 98-99 my mom gave me some money for my birthday, and we went to a supermarket so I could choose whatever I wanted. I saw this game for sale and I was confused, because at the time I had played the hell out of the PC version and I knew there was no official Mega Drive version. I stared at the box for 2 minutes and said:"Nah, not gonna waste my money on it". Thankfully I made the right decision. It was for sale for R$50 at the time.
I'm Brazilian and your explanation for why these copies were made is, sorry to say, utterly ignorant. If it was an American or European, you would have done a compliment, like Doom for Snes. Brazil for instance was the second in top tree consumer of airplanes simulators and racing such as Flight Simulator and Grand Turismo. I see no difference between modding or an honest creator challenge. Living here, I don't remember such games like this, because people "couldn't afford it".
I have one issue. Just one issue with this video. It's great other than this... Why are you using Doom music?! Duke Nukem 3D has such a kick ass soundtrack.

Yeah, I think the controls are the worst part. Moving around can be really clunky and led to most of my deaths.
It sucks so bad that even Wolfenstein 3-D on SNES is better, or maybe sucks slightly less than this total piece of crap.
There are cheats to make it easier like invisible and keys ammo

Yep, it was sold physically in the late 90s by TecToy and physically again by Piko Interactive from 2015 to 2020. You can find used copies on eBay.

If I'm not mistaken Sega is HUGE in Brazil, isn't it? I heard new games are being made for it. Like the Game Gear is still big.
