If I never get to see any modified Ford Ranger packages… I’m happy that someone else gets to experience the excitement I would’ve had seeing them in person 😁
😂
Good looking ranger. The problem with the 6 inch lift on these trucks is it places some of the drivetrain components at extreme angles and owners are having U-joint and CV-joint failures. Pause the video at 1:40 and you'll see what I mean. And that's sitting on a flat surface and not moving. It's even worse while driving, especially off-road. The RC lift is one of the worst. The BDS lift is somewhat better because it comes with relocation brackets to lower some of the drivetrain to reduce the angle but it's still a problem. I have a 2019 Ranger Lariat and I really wanted a 6 inch lift on 35" but I went with a 3.5 on 33" and so far I'm happy. Every person I know personally and many on the forums I frequent are having problems with their 6" lift. From what I'm reading the failures are about 1 year after install for the RC lift and about 2 years on the BDS.
3.5" and 33's sound perfect! Could probably use re-gearing, now sure what ratio is though.
Love the Ranger especially the Rocky Ridge and this video!
I’ve only seen the Rocky Ridge packages on GMC and Ram trucks. Anyways, I’m so so happy that you got to film all of these modified packaged trucks 🥳
Love all this ranger content
My '21 Ranger Lariat has push-button start. Nice build BTW. The lift and tires are awesome!
Just purchased the 2022 Ranger Rocky Ridge Edition I absolutely love this truck!!!! Well built, ride quality is amazing and sexy as hell.
We are picking up our Midnight Edition tomorrow! So excited!
Can you take this on off road trails and do a off road review as well with this set up? Please
That’s a rather sweet beast!😝
Man I love it. I have a 2021 ranger xlt sport. Would love to do this to it, but my wallet will only let me get a leveling kit and some new tires. The ranger is the best midsize truck on the market. I know because I test drove them all. The only thing I was worried about was reliability, but after speaking with 3 Ford techs from different dealerships, it seems the new ranger has been pretty damn reliable
I am a Ford tech myself and I have never seen one go into the shop for any repairs, only oil changes, tires and brakes! That’s the reason why I bought one myself
@@javiermarante5344 great to hear. I’ve had mine a year and it’s still the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Good luck with yours!
@@lesterparker1594 thank you!! As long as you take good care of her she will take care of you!
Hi Lester. I have a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat. I just went over 25k miles and I haven't had a single problem. It runs like it's brand new and I love it. Good luck on your decision on buying a new truck. 👍
@@javiermarante5344 I'm going through hell alignment issues bad battery tires lasted 15k crazy diesel codes 10mpg bad caliper no help
Bought a cactus grey black badge version. still get compliments.
Needs 35s imo.
I've never been in a ranger. But the ones I saw without lift were smaller and not very appealing. But this looks amazing. I'm wondering two things, what's the gas mileage and how does it do in the winter time with slowy roads
Very nice!, love the look. Could live without all the extra-emblems(badges)
I wonder what exhaust they used. It sounds a lot better than my stock 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat.
I like this truck. I would like the 360 degree sensors and cameras to aid in daily and off road driving.
I'm happy with my XLT Tremor for 43K vs 57K. That's 14K i can use for other upgrades...
How does the rough country lift drive? Cornering? I’m thinking about getting one for my 2019 ranger.
I’m not sure this is the way I will go when I prep my Ranger for off grid/road. Only time will tell.
I’m going leveling kit and new tires. But I do like this one
Guy wants $18,000 for the package installed, sounds like a lot for what looks like well under $8,000 in parts.
Tough call - you can get a mid 401a F150 Tremor for that price.
Probably be cheaper to buy a regular xlt and put the kit in aftermarket
I dont like bolt on look for the fender flares.
all rangers should have this option
Hello. I have a 2021 Ranger Tremor. My P R N D by shifter letters are not lite up. Don't tell me they don't lite up?
They don’t light up! Unfortunately
@@javiermarante5344 Thats crazy lol
@@armin7851 agreed!!
Ranger tremor vs this??
This
This all day
@@BenHardyCars Hard pass, and deceiving. You can visibly see that gigantic coil spacer, and the shocks arent even upgraded offroad shocks. Fuel wheels are mediocre, at best. I get you trying to sell a vehicle, but don't lie about what it actually is to justify the price. The Tremor has Fox 2.0's (Ford Tuned) on all 4 corners, plus an upgraded UCA to help bind/angle, as well as pre-installed skid/bash plates. I can guarantee that truck rides like dogwater compared to the Tremor which rides buttery smooth on/off road
A lot of dough for a modified Ranger XLT
Agreed. And it's not even a Tremor version. Got my Tremor Ranger for 43k, added some suspension components to add travel and help to not bind, and still under 45k. For 58k, i'd honestly buy a Lariat Tremor, and add UCA's, and a 2" leveling spacer. Good to go. Tremor rides butter smooth. And you would still save yourself about 7k lol
6” lift? Needs 38’s
Every time I see a lifted midsized pick-up truck I can't stop laughing 😆.
They look ridiculous
A mid size p/u lifted or in general?
It looks sweet. Much better off-road than a full-size truck
@@MissleT0E lifted midsized specially that high .
@@RealKoolKid1 agreed 6 inch is way to much lol
$57 for a Ranger. Why not 60k? Why not 70k? Lol 😂
Be careful what you ask for lol it might be 70 K next year
At the rate inflation is going I wouldn’t be surprised.
@@inspectorvoid 😂 You got that right!!!!!
Please don’t give Ford and Brandon any Ideas.
@@sgt.grinch3299 the market always corrects itself. There will come a time the retards spend all their money and then ford will need reasonable people to purchase vehicles again.
For everyday driving bet the gas mileage sucks
I got a 21 ranger myself on 33” tires and I get 22.5mpg so they do get pretty good fuel mileage if you keep your foot off of it !
@@javiermarante5344 thxs for the info that's pretty good mileage
@@genebooher1707 np! I used to get 23.8 with stock wheel and tires but since I switched to the 33s I have dropped little over 1mpg
@@javiermarante5344 do you like that engine 2.3 or wish it was a 3.5
@@genebooher1707 I really like the 2.3l the 3.5s have a lot of cam phaser issues and turbo issues and honestly they aren’t the most reliable
I’d laugh if someone pulled up in this mini truck.
Durrrrr luts gu brudun... fuck outta here
5om0okhnuy7
Why
@@stevenmich7640 because he’s soooo cool and only drives full size trucks
Too much for a ranger. It's like a little boy wearing his daddy's shoes.
Hahaah
The perfect truck for Ben Hardy....... zing!!!
