Hi, I just wanted to thank you very much for doing this video, as it helped me do all the pulleys, tensioners, belts, water pump and thermostat on my 2007 E63 M6. Since I did this on the ground, was easier for me to leave the idler pulley off until after I had the belt on, and then carefully screw it back in with the tensioner held back. And for anyone attempting this DIY, save yourself the trouble and order an upgraded aluminum power steering pump pulley before doing this job. The stock plastic one is not reliable for the long term. Belt/pulleys squeaking, P/S problems and charging problems all went away instantly with these replacements, and they occurred at 95k miles on mine. Seized tensioners on S85's will wreak havoc on the system.

      Hey man great job.
I have my car whistling whenever I start the engine. I wonder if that could be the idler and tensioner pulley doing all the noises.
      Big fan of your channel.
