There’s a bit of legal trouble with the original soundtrack I believe. Oddly enough they do use a couple of bits in a few places, but I believe the lack of the classic music is mainly due to 343/Bungie/Microsoft’s problems with the composer.

I love the fact everyone keeps asking 'where is his armor?' When it is actually a plot point in the show as it was taken from him and other Spartans as they were essentially left to die.
Bro what like why though? don’t they know the entire plot of the rest of the series evolves around him making it off Reach in his cool as hell power armor. He’s a 7 foot tall super soldier the murderous space aliens he’s fighting literally refer to as a Demon. He barely speaks he simply “does”. The underlying plot is half baked at best.
That whole ONI abandoning reach thing honestly made no sense either. In the game Reach was a pivotal world in the covenant war. It was the primary weapons and industrial planet in the entire UNSC, its strategic importance was even higher than earth. So the ONI just up and abandoning it just made very little sense to me. Reach was NEEDED in the war and was why the UNSC were so desperate to defend it in the game, so much so that the covenant just went ‘fuck it’ and decided to glass the planet. This just goes to show how much the showrunners just don’t care about the source material. This shot never should have gotten a second season.

This looķs terrible. The thing which makes it look really bad is that the guns have zero recoil. They couldn't even be bothered to get blank firing guns which means there's no sense of weight. Or whatever she's doing spraying that minigun likely hitting nothing. Or grenades that don't hurt anyone past a metre. Basically it looks like a school video project set probably set in the Terminator universe.
