@@marjan.f7441Mecca is confused. The stories of Islam simply do NOT make sense.
Look at what Islam teaches about Mecca. It teaches that Mecca has ALWAYS been occupied since the time of Adam and Eve.
This simply cannot be true at the same time as when Hagar and Ishmael were supposed to be lost and in danger of dying between the two mountains in the very centre of Mecca.
These are not mountains but piles or pieces of rock not even 30 feet high. They are not real mountains or even hills.
If people always lived in Mecca, Hagar would have seen people's houses and the smoke from their fires.
So at least one of the foundational stories of Islam regarding Mecca must be false.
The stories of the zamzam well are also false.
As Jay says, they have done significant excavation all over Mecca but found nothing except for an Ottoman fort and the aqueduct of calipha Zubeida. She had to build the aqueduct because the water from the zamzam well was not even enough for the pilgrims who could get to Mecca in the time of Calipha Zubeida. When the aqueduct fell into disrepair you can see photos of large trucks bringing tankers of water from elsewhere. Now the whole of Mecca is supplied by water from giant desalination plants on the coast at Jeddah. There are even pipes taking water INTO the well so it doesn't run dry for the zamzam water bottling industry.
Actually, it shouldn't even be a well because the story of Hagar says that it was spring of water, not a well that Hagar would have needed a bucket 🪣 and rope 🪢 to get any water out of.
It seems clear that Jerusalem is the real Mecca. Just when the people started developing the stories about Islam, and then they changed the direction of prayer, they built models of the mountains of Jerusalem especially Marwah and they have adapted a bunch of the stories from Jerusalem and resited them in Mecca.
When they did build the ka'aba in Mecca, stories continue to make no sense with the history.
What people call the black stone, for example, is not the black stone. It is some fragments of the stone set in wax in the vagina idol.
The story in Islam,of course, is that Allah sent a miraculous army of birds to defend the ka'aba and the black stone when the pagans controlled it, but since the Muslims have controlled it the black stone 🪨 has been cracked by an Umayyad catapult 🪨🪨 and then broken into pieces 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 🪨 when the Qarmatians stole the black stone and held it for ransom.
And we know that even some of these fragments have been taken away by people and are now kept in other places.
So according to the Muslim stories and history, Allah took better care of the ka'aba and black stone when it was pagan polytheistic than since Islam took over.

Get real. The Qur'an gives you proof after proof after proof that it is not from Allah. It tells you that it is supposed to be in " *_pure Arabic _* " but key words are in other languages and the Qur'an is only an attempt to render them in Arabic pronunciation. The word for gospel for instance is not Arabic but *GREEK* .

You are not worshipping a god but bowing down to Adam as Allah has the angels commit idolatry in the Qur'an.
I highly recommend the Archaeology Study Bible for those interested in some of the historical, architectural, geographical, etc. evidence for the authenticity of the Christian scriptures.

The other thing about Mecca is the fact that non-Muslims are not allowed there, and the so called oldest city in the world is being levelled to the ground and redeveloped so its "history" will never be discovered - tells its own story.
Every real ancient city, even pagan ones,

What did Jesus say about the Old Testament laws?

Because Jesus was Jewish, He obeyed the Mosaic Law, worshipped God in the Jewish Temple, attended a Jewish Synagogue, taught from the Jewish Scriptures, and even obeyed many of the Jewish oral traditions. There is much evidence that He even followed many of the teachings and traditions of the Pharisees.
Who did Jesus worshipped in the Jewish Temple? Answer is God and Jesus is not God and why would Jesus worship himself?

If you look up the Arab pronunciation of Mt Moriah you find that that is the real Mt Marwa not the pile of rocks 20ft high in the centre of Mecca.

@marjan.f7441 The biggest problem with that is that the first complete Quran didn't appear until hundreds of years after Muhammad's death. There is zero evidence of a town called Mecca at the time it would have to exist according to the Qur’an. Archeologists found no evidence of the city or travel going in and out and it does not appear anywhere on the ancient maps before 700 AD. Where there is desert, there is no water and therefore no people, no civilization and no history.
Qur’anic accounts of “Mecca” are highly inconsistent with the location, geography and flora of Mecca. The first unambiguous reference to Mecca in external literature occurs in 741 CE, in the Byzantine-Arab Chronicle, though here the author places the region in Mesopotamia rather than the Hejaz.
All the early qibla (the alcoves in Mosques that point in the direction of Mecca) don’t point there. They point consistently somewhere else. The terms “Mohammed”, “Muslim”, “Islam” don’t appear until a number of centuries later.

There is no proof for your claim.
But there is evidence that makes it reasonable to believe that the early Manuscripts were part of a complete Quran compiled around 650 ad.
For Mecca there is no proof in the 7th century, most likely it was just a waterhole. It has no Agriculture, unlike Ta'if wich is 60km east with a Mountain inbetween.
A Caravan with Dromedars would need 2 days to Mecca and 2 days back to bring food, that is not how you supply an independent settlement let alone a center for culture and trade.

Koran 48:24 uses the expression 'In the *_belly of Mecca_* (ببطن مكة)
The south Asian (Indian, Bakistani) have translated that to 'In the *_valley/area of Mecca_*
The correct translation of course is 'In the *_BELLY_* of Mecca.
This expression fits only Petra.
There is where the Kaaba was in the 7th century, before 'Umar ibn al-Khattab the Nazarene rebuilt the Temple Mount Kaaba in 639 CE.
So Mecca did exist in the 7th century. It wasn't the Abbasid-built Saudi Mecca, but Petra Mecca.

As a muslim, I watched the whole episode, i am so disappointed with these 2. They don't know anything about Islam, discussing the existence of makkah. Although it has historical proves, when hagar was left in makkah by Ibrahim with the command of Allah, there was no civilization in makkah at that point bcoz it was barren land before hagar came to this place, these people find logics only to make islam look weak, but they embarrass themselves by doing so.

But remember they were in Greek, a language Jesus or followers didn't know. Mark and Luke were not disciples. And the gospels it says “Gospel According To”. Not “Gospel Of”. Evidence from the Bible that Jesus is the Messenger of God and not God or the Son of God
1- Jesus teaches Satan that there is no prostration except to God, and that God is the Lord alone, Glory be to Him:

It is impossible that if Jesus was God or that he was God, as the Christians claim, for the angel to take him to teach him. !! How can one avoid the evil of Satan? Does the Creator of the heavens and the earth need education?!
2- Jesus fasted for forty days and nights and was hungry.. So can the Lord fast and be hungry!! Or is it necessary for the Lord God to be independent of everything else? The Almighty said in the Qur’an in explaining the invalidity of Jesus and his mother being gods: {The Messiah, the son of Mary, is nothing but a messenger. Messengers have passed away before him, and his mother is truthful. They used to eat food. See how We make clear to them the signs. Then See how they are being misled. Whoever needs food is not a god, lord, and creator, because the God, the Lord, must be independent of everything else, and there is no doubt that a human being eats, drinks, urinates, and defecates... can God be described in that way? Do those who say of the divinity and lordship of Christ have no reason to distinguish between the Lord God, the Creator, who is above all shortcomings, and the needy, poor, helpless human being??
3- Satan approached him to tempt him by saying to him: If you are truly the Son of God, turn these stones into bread...that is, so that you may eat of them after you are hungry. Jesus responded to him by saying, “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
The meaning is that man does not live by bread alone, meaning that true life is not only what gives life to the body, but true life is what gives life to the soul. So whoever believes in God and acts upon His words is truly alive, and as for the disbeliever who lives for his stomach only, he is apparently dead and alive, as God Almighty said in the Qur’an: { Or whoever was dead, then We revived him and made for him a light by which he walks among the people, like someone like him in the darkness who has not emerged from it. Guidance is from misguidance, polytheism is from monotheism, and righteousness is from corruption. These are not equal. He who is misguided and not guided lives only for the world and does not distinguish between polytheism and monotheism, guidance and misguidance, good and evil.
The meaning of the Son of God as stated in the text:
4- The terms “Son of God” that appeared in the Gospels and holy books among Christians are similar and must be returned to the decisive one. This word (Son of God) was used in Jesus, in his followers, and in every believer in God who does not disbelieve in Him... and both the Jews and Christians claimed it. As God Almighty said in the Qur’an: “And the Jews and Christians said, ‘We are the children of God and His beloved.’”
This word has two meanings: sonship of guidance, faith, and honor, which is what they call spiritual sonship, and it is said in return: sons of Satan, sons of snakes, as stated in the Bible in describing the Jews: (O sons of snakes), and everyone knows that they are not sons of snakes by lineage. Nor is Satan related to steel. Rather, they were attributed to snakes for their cunning, danger, and poison, and to Satan for their deception and lies.
Attributing children to God for guidance, success, working according to God’s law, following His guidance, and being illuminated by His light sent down upon His sent servants.
The second meaning is the prophecy of lineage, and the son who is a piece of his father, and a part of him.
There is no doubt for everyone who has heart, faith, insight, and distinction between the Creator and the created being that the second meaning is not related to God Almighty, for there is no lineage between God and any of His creation at all. He is greatly exalted above that, and if this word is: (Son of God) A circle in meaning between noble filiation, faith, sanctification, and love... and between filiation, birth, and partial filiation, so this word here is of the similar nature that must be applied to the decisive one whose meaning does not change, and the precise word is one whose meaning is only one, and there is no People of the tongue differ about it, nor people of reason, about its true meaning.
We cite here dozens of evidence from the Gospel itself that the word “Son of God” mentioned in the Gospels and in the books of the apostles of Christ - peace be upon him - means nothing but sonship of honor, sanctification, exaltation, and love, and that it does not belong to sonship of lineage or birth in any way. God is greatly exalted above what the ignorant, misguided, unbelievers say.
Satan's repeated saying... (If you are the Son of God) is from this category. Among these is Jesus’ words to his disciples: “And pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 6/45).
And his saying, peace be upon him: (When you pray, go into your room, lock your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you) (Matthew 6/7).
There are many such words attributed to Christ, peace be upon him, and all of them indicate that he used the name (Father) to express God in the sense of the nurturer, the one who feeds his faithful servants, and not in the sense of fatherhood by lineage. God is greatly exalted above that.
