Magical healing does nothing for life steal. Only vampirism I think.. but the reason is because of his will and magical damage bonus.. the more magical damage you deal, the more health you get from lifesteal.

They really need to nerf hydra from being able to infinitely block doors.. sometimes you can jump over them, but considering the warlock can just instantly move it, it’s more op than Druid door blocking.
Honesty nerf life steal too. Jesus, this guy should have been dead 3 times over in each fight, but can heal faster than cleric.. they need to take away the ability to heal off hydra. And add a cooldown to hydra or something, or larger charge time. DISCLAIMER: I am a warlock main.. I don’t play the usual meta tho, that shiz is cringe.
I was also gonna ask, if anyone else could share about this. I'd assume it's about how much will you're stacking when ur geared, it works well with the magic dmg part of the sword. Whereas you have no strength or phys power to boost the longsword. Maybe if u have no gear (under 125gs) you might be better of with a good longsword tho.
prolly will stacking makes it viable, especially with warlock 10% will perk and people playing will stacking crystal sword fighter it just makes sense, if you’re used to the better riposte on fighter anyways, then the magic damage on crystal sword = more worth vs pdr

because lifedrain scales off of cast speed and magic dmg not magic healing

Magic power makes the crystal sword very strong. Since most people build physical damage reduction the crystal sword will eat through most people
