I am trying to get a motion detector that is connected to the arduino to send a notification to my android phone with the use of the app inventor. I can only find ways to send info from the phone to the arduino but can't find information about how to get notifications from the arduino. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks.

Unfortunately they selected a bit string from some common component that appears in *every* App Inventor created app, including the Companion. So now that anti-virus company is marking *all* App Inventor created apps as viruses/malware.

Are there any alternative login methods available other than Google sign-in? What kind of cookies gets installed on my device when I visit your page? Do you collect and sell any of my personal data? If so, do I get a chance to opt-out BEFORE it gets set and starts collecting? Do you have a direct link to your cookie-settings page and are third-part trackers avoidable? I know it sounds weird and silly, but I have seriously developed a massive phobia to using the internet... 😶 It's really scary how easy it is to unknowingly just hand over every detail of your life to a stranger, who then can use it however he/she wants! Even though I assume that MIT would probably be safe to trust, I can't escape the fact that they're all computer geniuses and basically hackers xD And yes, I see the irony in using a Google-product to post this comment... :P

To run the app, Connect menu, and choose AI companion. (AI companion must be installed on your mobile device). To build and install the app, use the Build menu, choose QR code option, and scan code to install on mobile device.

you can use a Clock.Timer event and change colour and direction in that event.
