The lightsaber duels in the Star Wars Original Trilogy are less climatic that the ones in the Prequel Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy and Mandrolian and The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi due to the limitations to special effects back in the 1970s and 1980s and that CGI didn’t exist yet and all the lightsaber duel had to be done using glass lightsabers which can easily break and the lightsabers had to collide with each other gently so they won’t break.
