Sorry but I still don't understand how this "bitcoin helps the grid" could scale up: the bitcoin reward is fixed (and halved every 4 years), so the more asics you add, the less profitable they are, and there will come a point where the cost of asics is higher than the return... Sounds to me like you're assuming Bitcoin price will increase enough to compensate this issue, which is not guaranteed at all. (and I'm not even mentioning the cost in mineral resources to build all those asics, environment is not just carbon emissions)
The reality is, bitcoin hasn’t done anything positive in the last 3 years. It was 69k in Nov. 2021 and then it fell off a cliff. It still cannot hold 59k to this very day. Now all that might change, but unless you can wait a minimum of 4 years-you are likely to have both cheeks burned. Frankly, when you consider all the hype and positives around Bitcoin, the lack of serious price appreciation is concerning.
