Your meals always look so good! I’m so glad that the food banks are there to help you supplement and keep your grocery cost down! I will say though that the have a 19 year old son and keeping him fed once he hit about 13-14 was a full time job 😂 I know you’ve mentioned a son or two. I hope you’re able to keep that budget you have now for a little longer but I promise it eventually is going to change 😅 Keep up what you’re doing Momma, you’re doing great!
We like to make the same sorta black bean and corn mix! I call it fiesta salad,I could eat the whole thing by myself. Hope your chirch fellowship enjoyed it!
@@marykoufalis7666 we do have a snack at about 3 every afternoon. But they are also encouraged to eat well at meals so they stay full. Eating constantly really isn't good for our bodies. If they get hungry between meals, I encourage them to drink some water because often dehydration is mistaken for hunger. I assure you, my kids are well fed, healthy weights and happy. ❤️
@@weepingwillowhomestead well I definitely can speak for myself and I do speak for the original post that none of us were worried that the kids are not fed well or eating healthy as per your videos. I think it was more just a question out of curiosity and as you say they do have a snack at 3:00.
Hahaha yes I do. I do go through phases of just not eating as much. Or eating one BIG meal and then not being hungry again for most of the day. I am learning to really listen to my body and it has helped me a lot.
Do you make any attempt to control the amount of salt in your family’s diet? All of your charcuterie board foods are extremely high in salt, as are most of your meals, such as hamburger helper and pizza. You should be much more conscious of the amount of salt in your diet. It’s really bad for your health. You will pay for it someday.
In general, nope. Fat and salt have gotten a bad rap for a long time due to old, outdated and flawed studies. More recent studies are showing that fat and salt aren't as evil as we once thought.
Amazing week of dinners
Hello my friend hope you had a great weekend

My oldest son is 12 and I am bracing for impact. 🤣
If you drop your phone in water , put in a bowl with rice to dry it out . Also all your meals look good especially the French bread pizzas.
Such a beautiful country view outside at 7:35 😍 I bet it smelled so fresh and clear too!
❤❤❤❤
Thanks! Great menu this week 😊

Quick, easy meals can still be healthy (thank goodness)! 💚 Great job, as usual. 🥗
Just wondering... did the kids like the hamburger helper?
It was hit and miss. My picky eater liked it. Lol
If your kids get hungry between meals can they eat something in-between meals from the pantry?
No. We don't do all day snacking or they wouldn't eat meals. We do breakfast, lunch and dinner.
@@weepingwillowhomestead how do you handle the situation if one of your children come to you saying they're hungry between lunch and dinner?
I’m pretty sure her children are fed plenty. Mind your business.

Do you actually eat ?
What exactly do you mean?

And this is why I commented the way I did on a previous comment. Just had to say something negative did you?

Get over yourself
