I thought the same thing lol. For some reason him and Pegasa both give me heavy PC Uber vibes.
I think it's because they do so little during their attack animation, though hey looks very.... unique compared to the other wargofs
he still animates better, but yeah. bit stiff.

Fun fact about Akechi Mitsuhide: he betrayed and attempt to murder his master Oda Nobunaga in Kyoto, but Nobunaga commit seppuku instead. Mitsuhide then attempt to establish himself as shogun before being killed at the battle of Yamazaki two weeks later by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's forces.

Fun fact: Samurai used guns. Not extensively though because they preferred longbows. Oda himself commissioned several hundred guns for his foot soldiers.

A second form deemed good is always a good sign for its future TF (2+ years from now...)
akechi is honestly one of the best new units in a while, not overly powerful, but not outclassed in every regard, solid cc, solid damage/dps, a weakness that is covered in a clever way, 10/10 unit

He seems like he would excel best in mixed stages that have a couple higher-range black/angel enemies to be paried with strong frontline area dps to help keep the more threatening enemies at bay for a while for the shorter-range dps units to do work.
Surprisingly a good, well balanced unit.
I like his design.

Crazy how Snipers Super backliner unit(except Lugas) are always good
I like the way his mechanics are designed. Very good on his own with respectable stats and CC abilities.
But trade offs being a large blind spot and only having one of him at a time.
And they use the conjure ability here pretty well imo, since his blind spot is huge, having a conjure that knocks back all enemies to make up for that flaw, but not completely removing it.
Simple design but I dig it.

seeing so many spirits makes me think what if spirits had a cost? like what if the next luga gets a knockback freeze spirit that costs like 2k to use so that u gotta pay for the enemies to get pushed back into the powerfull blindspot that the luga is probably gonna have (give us another ld luga that isnt nobiluga plz)
