I just feel like the cannoneer, and potentially more tower troops, will make the game much more matchup dependent and “rock-paper-scissors” Say that you’re running wall breakers, and cannoneer and princess are 50/50 usage. If you go up against cannoneer, your wall breakers will die before they hit the tower, making them useless or at least heavily nerfed. Now imagine this but with more tower troops and cards all with their own weaknesses and strengths.
Also, zap isn't that useful because goblin barrel goblins are still 1 cannoneer hit, minions are still at 1 hit, and some more interactions that will still keep troops at the same amount of hits. Better to pick anything like arrows, log or royal delivery, anything that deals better with swarms.
