This was the 1st KSP video I watched, and I was really impressed, not knowing anything about the game. It's weird looking back on something you thought was really complex and now understand completely. Oh, and strong craft! I dropped it from LEO and it didn't burn up and even managed to land afterwards. Good job!

If you download the craft, I would HIGHLY recommend you take off some fuel so it can take off better.

Great job! I would suggest a larger angle of attack on the wings though. I tried a similar attempt of a monster with 6 wings and 8 engines. I forgot all about angle of attack and it can barely take off at Mach 2.5.
If you wanted to apply for nasa you could write I'm good at KSP in your resume

This video made me literally know and played KSP because it appears in my recommendation. I played it for a year in 2017 before then stopped for unknown time period :D
really enjoyed it! I like the final product too! I recently bought the game, and ive been making smaller private jet like planes at moch 4 with stock parts. Lots of fun :)

i tried my hand at building a A380 and it looked pretty good. then i tried making a ssto version and having the functionality to stay on orbit for a very long time. it has at least one of every thing in ksp and the problem is that it weighed enough to break the runway on takeoff and couldnt land without a massive support ship that had many, many upwards thrusters and it had to have a lot of landing gear. the plane itself has 31 of the massive landing gear and they sometimes work and the lander had a lot more. the lander took most of the couple hundred thousand tons off of the runway and put it on a nearby surface. i still have one of my planes that hasnt refueled and is orbiting duna after many missions, like 30 and still has most of its fuel. the thing still breaks the runway so i have to lower the initial fuel to about 1% of the total fuel then fully fuel it with my station. that space station is another story and i think i play ksp way too much.
1: make the wing larger or the fuselage smaller
2: make the flaps bigger, triple action (2 slots) on the inboard and double action (1 slot) on the outboard
3: try to ad slats, they greatly increase lift without increasing much drag like flaps
4: make the tail bigger and increase the area of the elevator/rudder
5: try to increase tail clearance for a higher angle of attack during take-off

When I tried to make a 747 like you in a different app It took me 702 pieces and it had such slow reaction time
Depending on how legit the aerodynamics are in KSP, it looked like you needed to change the angle of incidence of the stabilator (angle the elevator section down more) to create more lift because your centre of gravity was in front of your centre of lift. Amazing work though

Amazing plane well done, but imagine turning it into an SSTO.
It defiantly has the fuel capacity... I just need a place for RAPIERS and some nukes...
one thing to help with roll is on the real plane, they have these kinda revers flaps that pop up on the wing thats in the direction on the roll that pops up to stall airflow over it and essentially stall the wing to encourage better manuverability

Just comparing it to irl:
The nose has a very high pitch for yours. .your gunna want to lower that a bit and raise the cockpit and upper level a smidge.
Also landing gear a bit lower and raise the tail a smidge also so that you get a lower chance of tail strike
And make the economy area (Lower floor) a bit thinner. It makes it more aerodynamic. The rear wings, also known as stabilizers, should be a tad smaller. This is just for help btw

This is really good! The only gripe I can find with the design is that the hump on the top ends too abruptly and should start closer to the front and angle down very gradually. Other than that, awesome work!

ksp airliner replicas usually have wings more at the front because in real airplanes the fuel is on the wings, so they carry with them the center of mass.

-irl the center of mass of a plane will always be close to the wings (they are heavy) and in the middle of the fuselage, since that fuselage is quite a regular object, obviously the 747 is an exception but the location of the center of mass in a jumbo jet is also quite centric
- in ksp the center of mass will be closer to the front of the plane since it has more parts, plus the tail stabilizer will produce lift at the back, so wings are typically closer to the nose of the plane to compensate for this excess of lift at the rear,
