Hey! Thanks for the guide! I just have one big question, I know you didn't develop the method described in the video but you might still know the answer... How would one go about downloading Mozilla Firefox or any other browser if both Edge and Internet Explorer aren't available? Would running something like "winget install -e --id Mozilla.Firefox" on Terminal work? Thanks!
An excellent compilation of all the required steps to create and install tiny11. Especially the final step to set the security level to "restricted" indicates a profound knowledge in terms of security ! Well dione !!!
The absolute best "bloatware free" Windows you can install is Windows LTSC provided by Microsoft itself. Every other "custom Windows ISOs" always has security and privacy concerns as well as remove something that might break one thing or another. I've had so many people in a Discord server say that something doesn't run or crashes only to find out they are using a "custom Windows installation".
You are not wrong, but the LTSC also includes its cons as it's not a variant of the OS suitable for every computing scenario. My point is that every variant has its pros and cons, no software is perfect.
@@jonmad7915 You'll find telemetry everywhere. Its good in theory (as in it helps diagnosing errors better) but bad in practice (privacy concerns). I didn't recommend LTSC for telemetry stuff but for the bare minimum of Windows that potentially won't break things in the future.
Absolutely 100% Agreed. I'm using Windows 10/11 Enterprise LTSC and will be using till the end of time. Windows 10/11 Enterprise LTSC is better than Windows 10/11 Home/Pro.
It could be, but most people can't get that version, the right way. If you have to resource to other sources to download it that isn't Microsoft, that image is untrusted as any other you may try to modify.
It would be even better if you could choose what you wanted to remove. For my use case i would want to remove the online account, privacy options and the Personal Teams app
I can only suggest to you, to learn how to use NTLite by following various of tutorials here on RUclips. That way, you can choose what to keep and what to remove.
Super helpful video! Could not find the command to execute the ps1 filde, in AGES! I also werent aware of the execution restriction wich has caused me pain. Really a video for Dummys like me xD :- *
if you have windows 10 installed and you are working this script, otherwise install PowerISO and after adding windows iso, use option Mount there, if you are using Windows 7 or 8
Recall is optional and it uses the Windows Copilot Runtime that powers every AI feature on Windows 11, if someone figures out how to remove the runtime a lot of people are going to like that.

Plenty of telemetry even on LTSC, I must have removed 40 or 50 things from that, but i agree it's the best start.

there is no option for me to click mount when right clicking the iso image any recommendations?
Do you have the selection open with explorer , system Explorer , etc.
if you have windows 10 installed and you are working this script, otherwise install PowerISO and after adding windows iso, use option Mount there, if you are using Windows 7 or 8
Windows 11, ISO. Can i have on my USB and use it only on my USB will it work on 32GB or 64GB
Your question is a bit unclear, but you can use 32GB or 64GB USB.
Stock iso + post install Ctt tool is the way.
Maybe, I should wait for a GUI for this.
it is no big deal. you only have to press like 4 buttons and it walks you through it!
Is there soon a version without this horrible "recall" function?

@@Pureinfotech in my opinion, Microsoft said it's optional, but it isn't. We all know that...
If just for the theme than install Win 11, you will get ton of unwanted features/drivers/apps/ads that drag down our hardware performance…. 🤣🤣🤣
