Is the line you are using in the video 3/4?
I am trying to spec out a 45-1 pulley set up. And the specs aren’t real clear as to what size rope this snatch block will handle without damaging the rope. Thanks.

Measure slightly below the outer edge of the curve. distance = diameter. I generally run 12mm on these blocks with no real issue.

MATE! NEVER EVER use a tow ball as an anchor point. Have a look at a real world experiment done by
Ronny Dahl "Tow Ball recovery goes wrong slow motion" part 1 and Part 2 After watching this you will understand what I mean. I also have had to deal with the aftermath of a recovery rope breaking and the D shackle going through the windscreen and skull of the driver.

Had one of those orange ones and it exploded. Now only use synthetic and closed system

1:13 Grease > WD40 (Grease lasts for a very long time, WD needs re-applied all the time) js Plus I believe if it's already got grease, WD will liquify it "and that's not good"! tbf I'm no expert, I just know what I've heard and seen.

WARNING! These TICONN snatch blocks will come apart under load when the spring/snap ring comes off, which happens often.

маленький блок лучше. легче надёжнее. я думаю и крепче.
