First off I love that hair color on you!!! So beautiful. Second I literally jump on RUclips daily just to see if you’ve loaded anything new! You have helped me really put a use to my DT! Thanks for all that you do girl!
The spicy beef pattie is the Best one.My mom , who was Jamaican, used to make these from scratch. I never tried to make them, because I knew it wouldn’t come out nearly as good as my mom’s. I have to say that this spicy beef one is very very close to my mom,s. I keep my freezer stocked with them❤
My husband is from New York and they serve these on bread. So you cook it according to package and then you open it up and split it in half and add some shredded cheese then fold it and stick it back in the microwave for like 30 seconds to melt the cheese and then you either take a soft roll or Italian wonder bread a day off that and put it on there and cut it.
I havent seen the pizza one.. I like the spicy beef the most followed by the beef. They cook up great in my 12v roadpro portable oven. I like to do a mexican/jamaican fusion and add peppers and onion, salsa and cheese to them kind of like an enchilada
Interesting! I was trying to think of ways to make a meal pot of them and I couldn’t really see a good way to use them beyond just eating them but peppers and cheese, maybe a bed of rice and beans, that could be good for sure
@@DollarTreeDinners run with it! Jamaicans' do rice and pigeon peas as a side.. Peurto Ricans have a similar meat pie and rice and beans are a staple.. now you've given me ideas as well... layer pies, refried beans, mexican rice, peppers, onions, cheese...
I just got one of them new jerk chicken ones because that jerk chicken at the spot downtown with the ox tail be slammin I once had a choice of that or getting some cheeks I chose the ox trail bro.
Interesting. I just watched a Wolfe Pit review of these patties from 6 YEARS ago. These look different from 6 years ago. The ones Wolfe cooked literally fell apart. The crust was so flaky most of it ended up on the plate.
I just tried these and got the mild beef but I got the same texture that you did with the chicken... I've been wanting to try Jamaican beef patties for a long time and this just didn't do it

Thank you so much! I’m trying to upload on here more often, I know how much it can help others :) I appreciate it more than you know
Throw them jawnts in the oven, 400 for 25 minutes of you want them perfect

I have had good results putting the pasties in the toaster after microwaving them. Makes them nice and crispy
I love the Jerk Chicken ones! I heat them up in the microwave, but I do finish them off in the toaster oven for a few minutes.
The chicken and the spicy beef >>>
I love the chicken the most bc it’s a little sweet and is super strong. So good
The chicken one is so good! The beef one was kinda spicy for me
I truly do love your content. The DT is my favorite store and I love trying their food. Things are pricey now a days. My dollars gotta stretch lol.
Thanks for testing these for us!
This is from a well known food chain orginating in NYC. RIP to the founder of Golden Crust Lowell Hawthorne.
In New York, we usually would eat it with melted cheese and pepperoni.
Golden Krust also has a vegetable patty, which I bought at Dollar Tree, a few years ago.
I tried these after seeing this video, and I liked them! the chicken on had a nice curry flavor.

*cries in celiac* ahh i've always wanted to try that beef patty D: looks yum
That's my family's company
These are authentic patties. I’m from the east coast. You can find the restaurants in New York/New Jersey and in Florida.
You’re rite. Cheaper to buy at dollar tree than golden crust
