Installing a CHEAP Sway Bar For My R35 Nissan GT-R!! *MUST HAVE*

- Time to make the Nissan GT-R handle AWESOME!!
Today I install a new rear sway bar on my Nissan GT-R! This was a super inexpensive suspension modification for the GT-R coming in at $143. The Eibach rear sway bar was easy to install and fit as expected. There are 5 adjustments for it so I can fine tune how I'd like the rear of the car tp handle.
My 2020 A90 Supra handles so well that I need to do something to tighten up the GT-R! I noticed the car have a bit better rear stability in the middle setting that I have. But I think I'll put it to the most aggressive setting to see how that performs.
Overall, the part has nice quality, easy installation and so far helps the performance of the GT-R!
If you are thinking about upgrading some of the handling aspects to the R35 Nissan GT-R, a new rear swaybar seems like a cheap and easy way to improve the handling on the Nissan GT-R. Anybody can install a new rear swaybar in there own car, and it's definitely worth it.

You should wrap the gtr differently or back to original. I know is your car and you can do what ever you want but that wrap makes a $80k car look cheap. But to each their own, it will be a good video though, " re-wrapping my GTR!"

You should change the front one as well, as you might have as tight rear and a loose front which could affect the handling characteristics of the car. Suspension parts always work in unison side to side, front to rear.

Seems like a worthwhile mod. Will you know if a thicker anti-roll bar would work better vs. changing the setting on this?
amill1563 hmmm. I would think the position of the bolts would effect it more then just the thickness of the bar. I’m not too sure, but I might try the more aggressive settings to see how tight it can be

I only did this. Honestly I really didn't notice much of a difference. But I've only ever put it in the middle setting. Should probably try it on the tighter setting lol

does this help when you accelerate? i feel like i swing back and forward
I didn't notice anything like that. The lowering springs will help the car stay flatter when accelerating. This just tightens up the car when taking turns
Yeah I have a 2017 Gtr lower on swift springs and I accelerate I swing side to side, and also last night it rain heavily and when I hit a puddle I hydro plain, I’m running cup 2 tires 325/30/20
@@krazematik Interesting. My car has always been very stable accelerating. Even with 700 HP. Maybe your tires are very aggressive and are just gripping the curves of the road?
We had a Dark Horse Mustang recently for a week with track focused tires and it was exhausting trying to drive it straight
Do the wheels have to be off ground or it can be done on the ground?
You probably won't have good room to do this with the car on the ground. Much easier jacking up the back
What setting did you finally settle with ?
I ended up just leaving it in the middle. Honestly never ended up adjusting it. So try all the settings for sure to see what works for you!
