Awesome runs with impressive speed!! I ran a 3S Turnigy Graphene 1800mah 65C with a Tenshock 6850KV 2938 motor on a LC Racing EMB-T using similar sized foam tires with great results. I ran Xceed 30mm 37 Shore Fronts, and Xceed ITA 31.5mm 35 Shore Rears and got similar speeds. Subbed
Maybe you are referring to my other rc car Wltoys where I used a Castle motor that can go up to 100k RPM . Overheating is not an issue for short speedruns only.
Would you not get a better top end by sticking to the same size tyres? Surely reducing the tyre size that amount will increase acceleration but reduce tp speed?
Theoretically the larger diameter of stock tires will result to higher top speed , but these stock tires are soft rubber and they will surely blow out at +100 km/h ... this is the reason why I am using foam tires instead of stock rubber tires on my rc cars for speed run.
@@RcModwerks23 Fully aware that those balloon tyres wont take those speeds, thought you would be using the same diameter in foam or just good quality rubber belted?
@@icabodpsillycyberman414 I cannot find any compatible foam tire with 85 mm diameter .... and rubber belted tires a 5 times more expensive than the foam tires I´m using ... so I will use the standard 1/10 foam tires.
See the my latest video of this rc car , and it was able to hit 157 km/h using the same 1/10 foam tires : bit.ly/3kbzO3n . This means that top speed can be improved by 32 km/h faster even using the same foam tires.

Thank you! Cheers!
WoooW very nice amigo..!
Thanks for watching! Please check also the latest video of this rc car with Top Speed = 157 km/h
Niiiiiice👍
thanks!
wow!
Thanks for watching
What were you running for a spur gear? I've been looking everywhere for info, but can't find anything. Advice much appreciated!
I am running stock spur gear ... and still the plastic spur 😀
Rear wing looks sick! DIY or bought?
It was the stock rear wing that I modified a bit 👍
@@RcModwerks23 "a bit" 😅 cheers dude🤘
Hello friend did you notice any troubles with the differentials after the wheel/tire swap? Thank you
The differentials are ok until now... the new tires are smaller and lighter than the stock tires, so it is even better for the differentials. 👍
@@RcModwerks23 awesome thanks!
good
Thanks for watching 👍
Hello thanks for the wonderful video. If ever you use a 4S lipo, should change the servo motor? Thanks
No need
Thanks for your feedback.
With 7700 kv and 11.1v you're way past 50k rpm. Amazing.
Were motor temps ever an issue or no problem because it was a quick speed run?

How did you get the motor to fit it’s alot bigger than the standard one
customized motor mount.... taken from my other rc car and drilled some holes on the chassis
Nice car my friend, subbed and wish you could do same. Stay connected.
Thanks ! subbed back 👍
