I’ve been dying for this video, so glad it’s here! Love how it turned out! I’m in America and it’s very common here to stack your washer dryer. It looks great
Thanks so much Elysa I’m so pleased with how it turned out! And yes I love the stacking, I’m really glad we did it that way as I think it saves a lot of space.
Looks fabulous! The nicest utility I have ever seen! You must be pleased it is all done! Whilst on can you tell me the make and colour of your fencing in your garden please as I am in the process of upgrading my garden. Thank you in anticipation!
Katie Ellison thank you for replying to my question, I appreciate it as I know you are always so busy! I have just been on the B&Q web site to see if your fence paint is still available to purchase as I love how your garden fence looks but a reviewer says that anthracite is a mid grey colour and not a dark grey! Katie is this right as on your video it looks dark which is the look I’m after?
I loved the stacked washer dryer, great use of space! Also, another reason the washing machine always goes on the bottom is because when the water enters it, it becomes really heavy. Hence it should always be on the bottom when you stack washer dryers :)
Wow, that is a beautiful utility room - you have clearly thought carefully about its use and design and it looks perfect!! We are hoping to have our garage removed and have the house extended onto the garage footprint - an extension which we hope will include a utility room similar to yours. Please could you give me an idea of the size of your utility room so I can tell if we will have enough space for what we want to do? Many thanks!!
Hello! Of course, the tap is from a place called tap warehouse, if you look through the comments I’ve linked the actual one for someone else somewhere. And the handles are from handles 4 u :) x
Love your utility room and how you've organised everything. I've been looking for wall hooks like you've bought for the wall plants, can you remember what they are called? Ooo one more do you have the details for the reusable cloths for your flash mop?
Thank you lovely! Small but does the job perfectly! And yes I don’t think your a parent if you don’t have a bag of plastic bags 😆😆😆👍🏻 hope you are having a nice weekend x
Love your design, it clearly has so much thought put into it. I’d like to choose all my elements separately like you and from different suppliers. How did you manage installation. Did you get one company to come fit everything?
Do you tumble dry most of your clothes? Or the ones you air dry it where do you hang them? Im supposing perhaps top right corner but if it’s a big drying rack isn’t it awkward to transfer a bunch of clothes from washing machine to the clothes horse (especially if it’s one of those bulky multilevel ones)without much space? Only reason I’m asking is because we’ve got a nicely sized utility room at the moment but considering losing some space to gain a downstairs toilet but not sure if I’ll regret as we use our tumble dryer to the minimum, mostly for bed sheets (for environmental and £ reasons) so do need space for drying clothes. Hope I didn’t come across as rude/indelicate just wondering as might aid our decision xx
I don’t mind you asking at all. We normally air dry them on a portable clothes rack outside. Or we put the clothes rack in our conservatory as it’s lovely and airy in there. I only really tumble dry if I have too, or for specific things, mainly cause I don’t like using it too much. We did think about having a clothes dryer at the top but we’ve always dried our clothes in other parts of the house so I don’t know if there would be any point. Xx
Katie Ellison but in winter time don’t you find that means you barely can use use conservatory? I feel like I’m always doing laundry and my family is smaller than yours ahah. Once again, not trying to come across the wrong way I’m just being v indecisive in regards to my utility room ahah!
Lovely Katie, how about a mirror on the back wall? Might make the room feel bigger and draw the light from the ceiling too, making it seem brighter? Xx
It’s fine cause it’s a condensing dryer, I think ideally there would be ventilation but it’s not caused us any problems yet. 👍🏻 Also we try not to use it loads and dry outdoors.
Yes we thought it would be good if ever the sink leaked or any of the cleaning stuff spilt. It’s just what they packaged our kitchen in, we kept some of it back x
love the Utility room. Did the unit and tall unit did can you buy that as individual pieces? was it the same place you got your kitchen from? i also Love the dog lead. where is it from? when my doggie was little she chewed through 3 of them lol . She could do with a new one .
I think you can, we got it from masterclass kitchens. And the lead is from Pets at home, I’m not sure of the brand name but it’s one of those elasticated less friction ones x
Drainage, so usually our sinks have a drainer on the side (so are one piece with the drainer) but if we put undermount sinks in we have grooves cut in to drain excess water from things drying, back into the sink x
Sarah A what is the point in this comment? It serves no purpose other than to make someone else feel bad. So I guess that makes you a bully. You should be so proud of yourself.
I am old and I’m a mum of 3. 😆 Please try and be kinder, it’s just absolutely pointless being rude about someone’s appearance. I can’t change the way I look. X
And why should you? You are a beautiful, kind hearted and creative lady. never listen to bullies. Just jealous of the wonderful life you’ve created xxxx

Thank you! We are really pleased with it. And of course the paint is from b and q and it’s called b and q outside paint and the shade is anthracite x

I think a slim horizontal mirror would look great on that wall. Would make it look and feel wider too 😊
Thank you for the advice! A few people have said a mirror, I think that would be a good idea.
Hi Katie, can you link the soap dispensers from Amazon? We’re moving in a week so I’m buying all the organization stuff!
Of course here we go.... www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07X92RLNP?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

It looks great. I especially like the pink tiles.
Thank you 😍😍
Wow! Love how tidy everything is 💕
Thank you! Although I must admit it isn’t usually as tidy as this. It’s cause I cleared all the washing away for this video 😆😆
Those pink tiles are goals. Greetings from Spain.
Looking so good
Lovely practical room. Could you.possibly link to the mop cloths? I've been wanting to get new ones. Thanks
Hi, lovely utility room! I didn't find the link to the tap? Where did you get you it from? its gorgeous!
I believe Command hooks come in the brass color too. I have brushed nickel ones.
I love a pointless jar too 😂👍🏻
Hahaha my husband is like wtf Katie?!! Why do you bother? But I love a good pointless jar 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Katie please can you tell me details of tap and the door knobs please!!! Love the colour of them both!!!! Please please please!!!!
Hello! Of course, the tap is from a place called tap warehouse, if you look through the comments I’ve linked the actual one for someone else somewhere. And the handles are from handles 4 u :) x
I would paint that plain wall a pink to match the floor tiles - would tie it in with the kitchen too :)
Omg I’ve loved watching this video! I have massive room envy haha. I’m longing for a Utility room, so live watching Utility room storage videos! Xxx
Hahaha thanks Holly, it is a dream room to be fair! I love it x

@@katie_ellison thank you so much. Have you put artificial succulents in yours?
Another lovely room!!
Great :-). Does it work using a tumble dryer with having no window?
It’s fine cause it’s a condensing dryer, I think ideally there would be ventilation but it’s not caused us any problems yet. 👍🏻 Also we try not to use it loads and dry outdoors.
Hello, love the utility! Also really like the touch of a cupboard liner in your ‘favourite cupboard’- where is it from? Thanks

It’s 1.6 by 2.3 metres approximately 👍🏻👍🏻❤️
It looks gorgeous! Job well done 😊💛xx
Do you have a link/know the name of the beautiful wall tiles in your utility room? They’re just what I’ve been looking for!
Love this room! Are your plants real? Just wondering as you said there's no natural light.
Love your hair looks fantastic
Thanks so much Mary x
Thanks for sharing 💗
Thank you for watching 😍😍
Definitely a mirror on that back wall love the pink tiles 👏
Thanks Claire 😍😍😍
Could you send me the link to those mop pads you got from amazon please? Thanks :)
Love it xx
Thank you lovely x
What are dimensions of utility#
Very pretty room. What are the lines in the countertop for? I notice them often in English countertops.
Drainage, so usually our sinks have a drainer on the side (so are one piece with the drainer) but if we put undermount sinks in we have grooves cut in to drain excess water from things drying, back into the sink x
Perfect explanation ❤️
Ooo loving them tiles! Who is the lady that does your wire lettering? I can't find her page on insta. Thanks 😊 x
She’s called @morethan_just hopefully you’ll be able to find her but if not let me know and I can send you the link x
Thank youuu! Found her 😊x
Oo love it xx
Thank you xx
you wash the dog 10 times a week!! lucky dog! xx
No not at all! Only when he needs a wash if he gets really muddy. Normally 1 or 2 times a week but depends on the weather x
Hello, can you link the tap please?
It’s this one www.tapwarehouse.com/p/just-taps-vos-pull-out-kitchen-tap-brushed-brass x
