The Mayfair Townhouse +executive

The story of an extensive refurbishment, The Mayfair Townhouse was a project with the highest level of complexity, requiring elements of demolition and excavation to bring new life to one of London’s renowned Mayfair hotels. Owned by client London + Regional Hotels, the hotel spans over 15 adjoining 19th Century Georgian townhouses, each of which has been converted over a series of decades to create a six-storey, 165-key hotel offering in one of London’s most upmarket districts.
BSBG was introduced to the project in a consultant capacity, providing a review and rationalisation of the proposed design, and offering potential avenues to be explored that could enable the client to find cost and time savings, as well as reduction in exposure to risk during what is unquestionably a hugely challenging project to execute. The process of review also included identification of potential coordination and compliance issues.
