Two lesser-known Beatles songs driven by remarkable bass lines = Hey Bulldog and Rain (one of their most beautiful and innovative tracks ever but not found on any of their original albums, only a standalone single).
And he was considered the weakest link in the band. The weakest link in the Beatles was a thousand times better than the strongest link in most other bands. Listen to Tomorrow Never Knows - Ringo came out with that sound in 1966. 1966!!
Yep. Ringo often gets either overlooked or underrated. When I was in music school, Berklee College of Music, in Boston, one of my best friends, who was one of the best jazz and jazz fusion drummers I ever knew , whom I also went to high school with, once said to me that Ringo was one of the best drummers ever. I was actually surprised, because I never thought of him that way at that point in 1977. I asked him why, he said “aside from how tasty he is, and his choice in fills, his time is one of the best ever. He never loses it.”
THIS IS THE BEATLES!!! The absolute ORIGINAL and greatest, all others are covers of this stunning song. Lead singer & guitar John Lennon, Paul McCartney Bass & backing vocals, George Harrison Guitars and Ringo Starr Drums.
This is over half a century ago . Beatles telling us all world wide to ( Come Together ) Right Now ! Boy i wish we all understood this ( All those years ago ) The world might be much different now but take a look it really has gotten much worse . you guys should listen to one of their older songs called (( Revolution ) and ( While my guitar gentle weeps ) and ( all you need is Love ) i could go on and on . hope you guys dive deep into The Beatles together and solo . heres a tid bit for you The Beatles became famous in 1964 and they broke up in 1969 I know think about that and they were only 28 years old when they broke up . Stay safe out there . Peace and Love
❤ A whole lot of songs you already know are Beatles songs. You are at the start of a very long and life-changing journey. Never stop finding more Beatles and more about them. Minds blown 😊
Songwriting credits is Lennon/McCartney John Lennon on guitar and lead vocals Paul McCartney on bass guitar and backing vocals George Harrison on lead guitar Ringo Starr on drums ❤ THE BEATLES ❤
Nice to see the world catching up with music from the 1960's. You had it back to front, they don't sound like Coldplay - Coldplay sound like them. Coldplay were formed in 1997, 28 years after this was recorded and 27 years after the Beatles split.
Beatles sound like Coldplay 😂😂😂 I know what he means (they sound alike) but saying the words is hilarious. That aside, one of the most heartwarming things I’ve ever discovered is watching people hear them for the first time and over a few records realize what big a deal they are ❤
" Abbey Road" was the last album recorded by the Beatles .......a masterpiece ...... the b side is very famous with the medley ( call during recording " the long one " ) from the song " you never give me your money " to " the end" ....... is like a goodbye .... you need to listen at it and react ...... love your job ... sorry for my bad english
A great reaction to one of the greatest songs, from one of the greatest albums (and final albums, ABBEY ROAD) from one of, if not *the* greatest bands of all time, The Beatles. Thank you.
Abby Road my favorite Beatles album. Didn't like The Beatles when they first became popular in Europe. I was a teenager in native Denmark then, and my friends an I were into jazz. However, when they came out with Sgt. Peppers I became a Beatles fan.
The Beatles NEVER coasted. They were the fixie of rock bands. Every song was different, every album was better than the one before, they kept pushing boundaries, trying new things and never, ever rested on their laurels. I've got to believe that that was one of the reasons they broke up because if you do that long enough you're going to burn out, the magic disappears and it stops being fun.
Aerosmith!! good call … in the early 70's Aerosmith would play this in their live shows and … it was a different time … they released an album of bootleg recordings of their live shows with this on it - it's long to explain but, "Aerosmith; Live Bootleg," … it's a double album … i have it on vinyl.
The lyrics don’t mean anything. John was just so fed up with fans “reading between the lines” of their songs. He thought this one would give them food for thought. John be playin’ with us. .
Who would think that Michael Jackson or Aerosmith could possibly write a song this good. Or that The Beatles would need to record something by either one of those artists. God Almighty, help us all. The Beatles are the GOAT. Period. End of discussion.
John, being lazier and lazier for getting in the studio and writing, came up with this song, last minute while listening to Chuck Berry's "Can't catch me". He even took the original rhythm and some of the lyrics. Paul and George instantly heard a lawsuit coming, so they changed the tempo, added a cool bass line and Ringo came up with a genius groove. They saved this song from the cutting room floor. Here is the Chuck Berry song where clearly in the middle you can hear, "Here come old Flat top" ....... ruclips.net/video/DIR792CGrcQ/видео.htmlsi=5OLZg8Jm4f53ULbg
the lyric video has one of the llyrics WRONG, it's NOT "He BAD production" it's "He BAG production" John and Yoko did a lot of what they called BAGISM, where they would do interviews while inside a large black bag.
"Is this the original?" ... YES.
Beatles are still the best and will always be
The Fab 4 ❤
The Beatles catalog does not disappoint, they are classics setting the stage for the future generation of musicians ❤❤❤❤
Simply put the Beatles were the Masters. The Beatles could make anything sound good. All together they created music magic.
The Beatles are in a class by themselves, and I will never forget seeing them in concert in 1965.
Two lesser-known Beatles songs driven by remarkable bass lines = Hey Bulldog and Rain (one of their most beautiful and innovative tracks ever but not found on any of their original albums, only a standalone single).
Bass player is Paul McCartney
Let’s give Ringo a ton of credit. His playing was genius.
And he was considered the weakest link in the band. The weakest link in the Beatles was a thousand times better than the strongest link in most other bands.

@@krashd Well said.

❤ THE BEATLES ❤
Beatles are the orinators to what we heard in all rock ever after.

definitely check out "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". it'll surprise a lot of people who think they know what the Beatles are.
same with "HELTER SKELTER"
I couldn’t agree more!
Top selling musicians of all time.
I recently heard from Ringo( Beatles drummer) that this is his favourite Beatles song and favourite song --
🌸 Billy Preston on keyboard
This is so much fun. The ones says to other, yah. I've reacted to this... And what comes next? One Of The Greatest Songs Of All Time❤
Paul McCartney blast bass
I always think with the Beatles .. to get a feel of how they developed is to start at the beginning in 1963 …oh dear is that the original 😂😂😂
Paul was a master of the bass.😊
Beatle fan here! HANG ON!!!

MJ with all his fame and money bought the rights for the entire Beatles song list. This was one of his favorite songs, so he did a cover.
A great reaction to one of the greatest songs, from one of the greatest albums (and final albums, ABBEY ROAD) from one of, if not *the* greatest bands of all time, The Beatles. Thank you.
'Are the Beatles original?' - how very very dare you? 😊😊😊
Paul is the bass player.
You NEED to do a reaction to "HELTER SKELTER" by the BEATLES, since you are Metal Heads. PLEASE do a reaction to it!!
And make sure you do the one with the White Album cover. It says Helter Skelter (Remastered 2009). And have it turned up loud!
Great reaction guys‼️. You really should check out Michael Jackson's video- he bought a lot of the Beatles catalog and I loved his interpretation🔥💯
❤❤
Tina turner version is great, and she did some Led Zeppelin songs that are great!!!
Abby Road my favorite Beatles album. Didn't like The Beatles when they first became popular in Europe. I was a teenager in native Denmark then, and my friends an I were into jazz. However, when they came out with Sgt. Peppers I became a Beatles fan.
McCartney was a great melodic bass player
🤩

Wow that was amazing and thanks for the information
Want to hear another beastly bass from The Beatles? Listen to Old Brown Shoe.
Areosmith cvered this song for the movie Sgt Pepper's.
If you're not a Beatles fan now, you will be after you listen to Abbey Road in its entirety. A masterpiece.
There is a reason that the Beatles are the only band in history that has sold more than one BILLION records with a B.( Source " Beatles FAQ)

Aerosmith does a cover of this song so does Joe Cocker!!
🌸 Beatles are the original but Aerosmith did cover it
Want more bass? Look up 'Hey Bulldog' by them.
Or Rain.
Good call on Aerosmith!
If you love bass, McCartney is your guy.
Did you hear the whole new bass line in the coda?
I prefer the Brothers Johnson version.
