- Directions for the course:
In this step-by-step wood carving course we will focus on giving movement to the body, and learn how to carve a female body sculpture easily, working with a template and in any wood.
In this video I use ficus wood that is not a good quality wood but it is perfect for training.
With this size and with a poor quality wood we won't be able to do details but that will allow us to focus on the main shape and movement of the body.
Ideally, to transfer the drawing to wood, I recommend using carbon paper.
The finish is with linseed oil. In my case it is a mistake since with this wood it gave it a very dark appearance and made the grain stand out too much. For finishes it is always good to test pieces of the same wood before applying it to the sculpture.

Chiseling toward your femoral artery is always a great idea.
Yes but y have expérience. I do not force with the shoulder but with a movement of the handle. No chance of the gouge ending up in my arteries. But it's Bad exemple for the viewer

Una gran obra de arte lo malo es que las herramientas que se ocupan son muy caras pero este trabajo es muy bonito y apasionante gracias por estos fabulosos momentos que nos regalas saludos desde México.

Si. Es un tutorial paso a paso casi sin corte. Toda la primera parte trata del desbaste, algo que puede parecer obvio pero que en realidad muchos no manejan tanto. Saludos.

Proper tools are to be used , small eltrical cutter, miscro grinder tools needs to be used to remove extra wood.

@@CharlyBrunetSculpture jajaja tallar con jubias y tallar con dremel es dificil al principio algunos le a costado años en tallar los prodigos tardamos semanas y meses cualquiera no talla le da miedo no creas que estas haciendo pilleria recuerda el tallado es gastar el volumen de la madera y dejarlo fino por eso e invertido para mejorar mas y ser mas realista haciendo espiritus.aguilas.casas de duendes.arboles.buhos etc tu tallado tiene que ser de ti mismo y corazon 💖 humilde te saldra mas hermoso jajaja
