- Country singer Morgan Wallen was arrested on Sunday after allegedly throwing a chair from the sixth floor of a rooftop bar. According to law enforcement that arrested the 30-year-old, the chair narrowly missed them by three feet.

He could have hurt somebody throwing that chair off the building like that. What if that chair hit a child. He acted like he didn't care. I live here in Nashville and from what I hear other people say he's really arrogant and has a mouth on him..

So someone else poured the liquor down his throat?! He has a reputation for getting drunk before, during and after his concerts. Didn't show last April for concert at Ole Miss, many fans very angry! I wouldn't spend a nickel for a ticket.

I don’t think people understand how the justice system works. Morgan Wallen WAS arrested and taken TO JAIL. He spent time IN JAIL until he bailed/bonded out. His bond/bail was set extremely low by the court. $15,250. Of course he left, if you can afford that, then you should. It’s harder for people to fight any kind of allegations from INSIDE jail.
All of the people here making judgements are shameful. Were you there at the bar? Did you see him throw the chair? Did you see the officers arrest him? No? Then you’re not allowed to be offended by a story you’re hearing second hand. Ever play the telephone game? How often do stories change as they are passed from person to person?
The ability to use our brains for critical thinking is what makes us better than animals. Are you better than an animal?
From my position, I have seen more malicious intent from police officers than I have criminals. Too often, people have been arrested or charged with crimes BEYOND the actual circumstances. Even in this instance, in the videos the officers smiled and laughed once they have Morgan in the police car. This is really great clout for them. In both their career choice and personal life.
Did they charge Morgan with something he didn’t do or didn’t intend to do, all for the clout? Our police are not angels and commit just as many crimes as criminals, only thing is they believe that they can get away with it.
Police shoot first and ask questions later. Police have been caught lying and are ALLOWED to lie to citizens in the pursuit of “justice”. They are allowed to impersonate people of greater status and authority. They are allowed to lie about evidence or facts. They do this to trick a citizen into a confession or belief.
Police are not “the good guys”, they wrongfully arrest citizens all of the time. For money, for clout.
Police are just as bad as our worst criminals, except they are allowed to get away with their crimes because they “wear the badge”.
Poor citizens are forced by the justice system to plead guilty to crimes they didn’t commit. The police will arrest them and lie to them, The court will threaten them: “Plead Guilty right now and you can walk free today. If you refuse, then the offer is rescinded and you COULD face (the maximum sentence) with extra requirements for release.” Then the court will provide them with a lawyer paid for by the court themselves who is over burdened and unable to dedicate the proper focus to this one case. Public Defenders are nicknamed Public Pretenders for a reason. Public Defenders do not fight for your innocence, they guide you through the charges to the most lenient CONVICTION SENTENCING. A win-win for the court.
Obviously. I advise everyone to zip their lips and wait for the official story. Unlike many of you, I will wait to see how court plays out before making more comments. For all we know, Morgan’s intentions were good and he saved a life by yeeting the chair out of the building or maybe HE didn’t throw the chair at all. Situations are ALWAYS more complicated than they appear.
I ask that all people please remove your rose colored sunglasses so you can see that the world is more complex and dark than just pink and rosy.
