Knowing my ‘why’ has been so difficult. I finally dawned on me listening to your show. Art is extremely challenging for me to learn and as a super senior it proves to me that I still have the capacity to learn and enjoy. Plus I adore the colours of my mediums. Oh those scrumptious colours ❤

Late ADHD diagnosis is very common in women. ADHD presents differently in women as inattention/hyperfocus or internal hyperactivity. Before I was diagnosed late last year, I remember relating the to content of the "How to ADHD" channel several years ago. I didn't seek out a diagnosis; my therapist recognized the symptoms and recommended screening for it. I'm grateful for the diagnosis because it helps me to better understand how my brain operates and I can be more self-compassionate when I'm struggling through a task/project as well as employ ADHD strategies to help me. Of course diagnosis by a licensed mental health professional is ideal and relating to the symptoms from content on the Internet can be the first step.
